"Educational Trip to Pangot and Nainital"

Dr. Virendra Swarup Public School, Cantt. organized a Five-day educational and adventure trip to Pangot and Nainital for the students of Class 10, commencing on 29th May 2026. The trip provided a wonderful opportunity to experience nature, adventure, and teamwork while creating unforgettable memories with teachers and classmates.

The journey commenced from the school at 9:00 PM on 29th May 2026, followed by an overnight bus ride to Kaladhungi. From there, Sumo jeeps transported the group to the picturesque hill station of Pangot. Surrounded by lush green forests and breathtaking scenery, the campsite offered a refreshing escape from city life.

During the stay at Pangot, students participated in several thrilling adventure activities such as Zip Line (Fox Flying), Rope Net Climbing, Burma Bridge, and other rope-course challenges. These activities tested courage, balance, and teamwork while providing excitement and enjoyment. Pleasant weather and gentle rainfall enhanced the beauty of the hills and forests, creating a memorable atmosphere.

Apart from adventure activities, students enjoyed cricket, badminton, and other recreational games. Cool weather and occasional showers added charm to the surroundings. Evening hours were marked by bonfire gatherings, music, dance, and joyful interactions among students and teachers. Delicious Maggi further added to the delight, making the evening one of the most memorable highlights of the trip.

Following the completion of adventure activities, the group visited Nainital and explored the famous Naina Devi Temple, the bustling Mall Road, and vibrant local markets. The scenic beauty of Naini Lake and the surrounding hills captivated all visitors.
The trip contributed to the development of confidence, cooperation, and a deeper appreciation for nature among Class 10 students. The experience proved to be a perfect blend of learning, adventure, and recreation, leaving behind cherished memories, stronger bonds, and valuable experiences for years to come.

Educational Trip to Shimla–Rajgarh–Chandigarh

Dr. Virendra Swarup Public School, Cantt. organized an enriching and adventurous trip to Shimla, Rajgarh, and Chandigarh for the students of Class 12 from 29 May to 3 June, 2026. The trip provided a perfect blend of education, adventure, and recreation beyond classroom learning.

Students explored picturesque locations and participated in thrilling adventure activities such as rock climbing, rappelling, rope walking, trekking, and camping, which encouraged confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills. The experience of staying amidst nature and engaging in outdoor challenges made the journey exciting and memorable.

Well-planned travel and accommodation arrangements ensured safety and comfort throughout the trip. The excursion offered valuable learning experiences, strengthened friendships, and created unforgettable memories, making it a truly rewarding journey for the students of Class 12.

Inferno 3x3 Shree Rangendra Swarup Cup Basketball Tournament held on 30-31 May,2026 was a pure example of dedication and love for the game of basketball. The two day tournament was hosted by Dr. Virendra Swarup Public School, Cantt where around 47 teams participated with 150 players from Kanpur, Meerut and Lucknow competed with each other in 3 different cateogries. A shooting competition was also organised. Winners were awarded with medals and trophies on the final day.

The Summer Camp at Dr. Virendra Swarup Public School, Cantt concluded on a joyful and memorable note. Students enthusiastically participated in exciting activities like art & craft, dance, music, sports, science magic station, maths marvel studio, grooming hub, and smart snack lab.
The culmination ceremony showcased lively performances, creative talents, fun games, musical chair rounds, orchestra, tabla, choir, and many happy moments. The camp provided children with opportunities to learn new skills, build confidence, teamwork, and create beautiful memories.
