“Your career is your story — make it worth telling.”

Dr. Virendra Swarup Public School, Cantt., organised a Career Fair today on the school campus—an initiative aimed at helping students of Classes XI and XII explore various career options and understand the opportunities available across diverse fields.

The fair aimed to help students make informed decisions about their future pathways.
On-the-spot registration provided students with an opportunity to interact with representatives of universities from across the nation. Interactions with experts helped students overcome their apprehensions about their future and gain greater clarity about their career choices. Representatives from various colleges also provided informative brochures.

The fair proved to be a valuable experience that broadened the students’ understanding of the diverse career opportunities available in the modern world.

At Dr.VSPS Cantt. , students of Class 6A conducted a special assembly on *The World Humanitarian Day *celebrated every year on 19th August since 2009.
The date marks the tragic 2003 bomb attack on the Canal Hotel in Baghdad, Iraq, which killed 22 humanitarian workers, including the top UN envoy Sérgio Vieira de Mello.
This year’s global theme is *“Strengthening Global Solidarity and Empowering Local Communities"* and the students presented their thoughts for the purpose of "increasing public awareness about humanitarian assistance activities. They emphasised upon the core goals of honouring Sacrifice
,protecting workers and raising awareness. They also lead stress upon the purpose of Human life and to show compassion and the will to help others .

On the occasion of 80th Independence Day, Dr. VSPS Cantt. composed beautiful lyrical piece to dedicate it to all the Indians who shaped India after it became independent. The lyrics is an answer to the question ‘How far has India gone after independence?’

"The tricolour flies high- and so does our pride"
Dr. Virendra Swarup Public School, Cantt., celebrated India's 80th Independence Day on August 15, 2026, with great joy and pride. The principal raised the national tricolor flag as everyone stood to sing the National Anthem.
Students performed lively patriotic songs. The Inter House Dance Competition was conducted for primary and middle grades to ignite the spirit of patriotism and pay a tribute to our motherland. Students shared inspiring words about our history, peace, and unity.
The Principal addressed the students, reminding them about the countless sacrifices that made our independence possible and the responsibility that each one of us hold in the progress of our nation. The program concluded with an electrifying orchestra performance.
