08-Nov-2025 आगरा में आयोजित हुए अखिल भारतीय *निनाद संगीत महोत्सव* 61वी अखिल भारतीय संगीत प्रतियोगिता में - गुरुजी के आशीर्वाद से गुरुकुल के दो विधार्थीयों को शास्त्रीय ध्रुपद गायन में प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त हुआ है!

यह अखिल भारतीय संगीत प्रतियोगिता संगीत के महानायक *पंडित विष्णु दिगंबर पलुस्कर जी* के पुण्य स्मरण में संगीत कला केंद्र आगरा द्वारा आयोजित की गयी थी जिसमें संपूर्ण भारत के प्रतिभागी उपस्थित रहे।

इस प्रतियोगिता मे जेष्ट वर्ग ध्रुपद मे कुश धीमान को प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त हुआ है तथा भाव्या जोशी को किशोर वर्ग ध्रुपद गायन प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त हुआ है

गुरुजी पं Vinod Kumar Dwivedi जी एवं आप सभी के आशीर्वाद /शुभकामनाओं से अपने गुरुकुल Ranjana Devi Sangeet Mahavidyalaya , Kanpur एवं Dhrupad Kendra Kanpur कानपुर की विद्यार्थी भव्या जोशी (11 वर्ष ) ने भारत सरकार की प्रतिष्ठित CCRT, New Delhi Cultural talent search scholarship 2024-25 में चयनित होकर गुरुकुल का मान बढ़ाया।अब भारत सरकार भव्या को 20 वर्ष की आयु तक संगीत सीखने एवं इसमें कार्य करने के लिए 12600 प्रति वर्ष स्कालरशिप राशि अवार्ड रूप प्रदान करेगी तथा देश के अनेक मंचों में प्रस्तुति के लिए भी आमंत्रित करेगी । अभी तक अपने गुरुकुल से भारत सरकार की स्कालरशिप के लिए 24 लोगो का चयन हो चुका है । आशा है आप सभी का आशीर्वाद इन बच्चो को ऐसे ही मिलता रहेग।

Happy 64th Birthday to our Guruji, Sangeet Natak Akademi Awardee Pt. Vinod Kumar Dwivedi Ji

Pt. Vinod Kumar Dwivedi has carved a niche for himself as one of the leading senior Dhrupad-Dhamar exponents and vocalists in the country. He has firmly established his position as an outstanding singer, eminent guru, composer, and writer—both in India and abroad. Dhrupad music, a revered genre of Indian classical music that dates back centuries, is known for its profound spirituality, intricate melodic patterns, and rhythmic precision. Pt. Dwivedi has played a crucial role in preserving and promoting this rare art form.

In recognition of his immense contributions, he was honored with the Central Sangeet Natak Akademi Award 2023—the highest national recognition in the field of performing arts, conferred by the Hon’ble President of India. Through selfless dedication, he has taught hundreds of students, composed a vast number of original works, and performed tirelessly to revive and uplift Dhrupad.

Pt. Dwivedi is a senior artist at All India Radio (AIR) and Doordarshan. He has written and composed around 600 pieces in Dhrupad, Dhamar, Khayal, Chaturang, Bhajan, and Geet based on Indian classical music. He currently serves as the Director of Ranjana Devi Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Kanpur, and is also the guru of Dhrupad Kendra Kanpur, a training program established by the Sangeet Natak Akademi in 2018. At this Kendra, students receive education in this rare art form completely free of cost.

Pt. Dwivedi has performed at many prestigious festivals and platforms, including the Indian Embassy UAE, Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation, Haridas Sangeet Sammelan, Harrivallabh Sangeet Sammelan, Tansen Samaroh, Balgandharva Samaroh, Nana Pansey Smriti Samaroh, Akhil Bhartiya Sangeet Sammelan, Prayag Sangeet Samiti, and numerous ICCR programs in India and abroad. His recordings are available under renowned labels such as Bihaan Music, AGI Music, Vidya Bharati, and Sangeet Natak Akademi.

Apart from Dhrupad and Dhamar, he also performs Khayal, Bhajan, Thumri, Geet, and Chaturang. Pt. Dwivedi is an ICCR panel artist and serves as an examiner at reputed institutions like Bhatkhande Deemed University (Lucknow), Bhatkhande Vidyapeeth, Prayag Sangeet Samiti, and Banaras Hindu University.

Trained by eminent musicians—Late Pt. Kashi Nath Bodas, Shri Shri 1008 Shobhan Sarkar, Late Pt. Vidur Mallick, and Pt. Abhay Narayan Mallick—he has passed on this knowledge to over 1,200 students from across the globe, strictly following the Guru-Shishya Parampara. Among them, about 160 financially underprivileged students from slum areas receive free music education.

Thanks to his relentless efforts, many of his students have achieved professional and financial success in music, contributing meaningfully to their families and society. His disciples have gone on to excel in fields like classical music, Bollywood, Akashwani and Doordarshan, and in educational institutions as professors, lecturers, and instructors.

Some of his disciples—Ankit Tiwari and Shivam Pathak—have made their mark in Bollywood as singers and music directors. His 600+ bandishes in classical and semi-classical music are widely admired and performed.

He is also associated with major cultural and academic institutions, including Sangeet Natak Akademi, Allauddin Khan Academy (Bhopal), UP Ministry of Culture, NCZCC, Vidya Bharati, Sanskar Bharati, and others.

His book “Dhrupad Shobhanam” (Volumes 1 and 2) contains over 500 of his compositions across genres and is a valuable resource for students of Indian classical music. His extensive discography includes Dhrupad albums, Parv Geets, Bhajans, Desh Bhakti Geets, and recordings of rare ragas and taals.

He regularly conducts free workshops and lecture-demonstrations in rural India, helping to make Dhrupad more accessible. His compositions are infused with Bhakti Ras and reflect the teachings of Indian scriptures, drawing more listeners and practitioners to this spiritual genre.

Many of his students are recipients of CCRT Scholarships (Ministry of Culture) under schemes like the Cultural Talent Search Scholarship and Young Artist Scholarship. His tutorial videos and online teaching have brought classical music education to students in remote rural areas without any financial burden.
