Scope of Master of Computer Application

India has more than 250 universities (over 900 colleges) and engineering colleges providing computer education at the degree/ diploma level, the output of trained human power at the degree/ diploma level has been consistently increasing since 1985 and touched a figure of 130,000 during the 2000. The formal education system is supplemented and complemented by thousands of private training institutes across the country, which are providing computer education. The private training institutes are also doing a great service in providing a backbone to the computer literacy program.

MMEC, Mullana has been designated as Nodal Centre for Virtual Labs. of IIT, Delhi. The objective of Virtual Lab. is to provide remote-access to labs. in various disciplines of Science & Technology of various IITs, NITs and higher institutions to the students of MMEC, Mullana. These Virtual Labs. would cater to students at UG/ PG levels as well as to research scholars. The students can conduct experiments through remote control. Thus, we can share costly equipments and resources of various IITs.

A Research Project on “DEVELOPING INFRASTRUCTURE FOR PROMOTING RESEARCH IN THE STATE OF HARYANA IN THE PROMISING AREA OF NON-CONVENTIONAL MACHINING WIRE CUT EDM” of budget Rs. 22, 15, 000 has been granted to Mechanical Engg Deptt, M.M. Engineering College, M.M. University, Mullana, by Department of Science & Technology ,Government of India. The Principal Investigator and Co-Principal Investigator of the project are Er. Rajesh Khanna (Associate Prof) and Er. Rahul Dev Gupta (Associate Prof).
