Kiddies paint their moods in shades of blue”

Kindergarten celebrated Blue Day on 24th February 2023. It was a pleasant and a cool blue day for the tiny tots.

The significance of blue colour was reiterated through a series of activities. The dress code of the day was blue.

Excitement and enthusiasm was visible everywhere. All the children came dressed up in different shades and hues of blue. Children were introduced to different shades of blue.

The little ones dipped their thumbs and fingers in colours and left the impression on a paper to make an aquarium .
They enjoyed this activity.

Blue Day was an amazing learning experience which had a long lasting effect on each student. Early identification of colours helped to create the cognitive link between visual clues and words which is an important part of a child’s development.

It was indeed a visual treat to see the good effects of blue colour on our little ones.

Part -2 of Educational and a fun filled excursion...Our school organised a trip to McDonalds. Students learnt about production and division of labour. They were taught how food combos were made. This was a differential learning for them. They also got to know about how to order the different varieties of food. Students clicked pictures with Ronald McDonald and had a happy meal that included a burger , fries and cold drink. Our children enjoyed and had fun.

Talent wins games, but
team-work and intelligence wins championships.
Sports day is a platform to showcase the talent and efforts put in by the children to make it a successful event . Sports at school level is not only about competition but also it is about having fun, being physically active , learning the basics of sports and building co-ordination amongst the students so as to give them an opportunity to display their self - confidence , patience , zeal and sportsmanship .

*Sports Fiesta* of Grade P.G to IV was held in the school.
Children participated in different races with full verve and vigor. The young achievers were awarded tokens of appreciation by the Principal.

As part of their ongoing exposure to environmental studies, a field visit was organised for the children of Dr.Virendra Swarup Public School to the plantnursery.The aim of the visit was to broaden their understanding of plant life and how a green environment can benefit living beings on this planet. Since the EVS concept is being taught in class, the students were able to identify the different types of plant life, including trees, shrubs, climbers and creepers. The children were able to name the different flowers, trees and leaves. They were fascinated to see the lotus pond and they were able to relate many of the plants and trees to what they have seen at gardens,parks. With their curiosity kindled, the children spent a productive day filled with excitement of discovery and proximity to nature. They got a first-hand experience on how plants are nurtured in the field. The visit was a revalidation of how experiential learning can be used to inculcate in the students respect for nature.

Interhouse Elocution and Declamation was held in the school . This completion enhanced the vocabulary, body posture and stage confidence among the students . All the students from classes I to VIII actively participated in this competition.

Where Speech and wisdom of words meets the innovation and creativity start it balance . Children tried their level best to make a beacons of speeches .

Farewell 2K23...

A community needs many people to help it to function well and make the world a better place to live. Educating students about the community helpers and the kind of roles they play in our daily lives is highly important. Indeed, they remind us of how inter-connected we all are when we live in a community.

With an aim of stimulating the students’ imagination and enhancing their social development skills.
Community helpers activity conducted in kinderworld on 1-02-23 in which our kids dressed up as a community helper and in-acted their character so nicely.All the students performed very beautifully. They dressed up as different helpers like doctor/soldiers/teachers etc and performed the activity mesmerizingly. Students of kinderworld eagerly participated in this activity.
Through this activity students were able to bring out their speaking skills.They also learnt the importance of community helpers and their impact on our life.
