We are incredibly proud to share the results of the 24th Robosub competition held in June 2021. The competition witnessed massive participation, with over 1400+ participants, 54 teams from 12 countries. We secured 3rd position in the best website category and in the skill videos category, we finished 4th for Power Management and 8th for Hull Design. We were also able to secure 16th position in the Technical Design Report category.

With the pandemic forcing the competition to be online, it was a tremendous challenge for us to design, develop and test the vehicle. Despite that, we proved our mettle and skill by putting up a remarkable show competing with internationally recognized teams from the world's best universities such as Caltech, Cornell, UCB, NUS, etc.

We would like to thank our faculty advisor, Prof. Indranil Saha, who guided and mentored the team throughout the competition. We would also like to thank our sponsors SolidWorks, Ansys, IDS Imaging Development Systems, Altium, Xsens, Sparton, MathWorks & Dord_iitkanpur. A big shoutout to all the team members who worked extremely hard to make this feat possible. Finally, we would like to thank RoboNation - AUVSI Foundation for successfully conducting the event in online mode.

As part of the ongoing Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of IIT Kanpur, an Open House event was organized on 25th January, in which over 4000 high school students studying in and around Kanpur were invited to visit the campus and get to know about the plethora of activities in the college.

Our team exhibited our vehicle, Anahita, to these enthusiastic and inquisitive children. The newly recruited Y19 put up a great show and participated eagerly in answering the questions from the students. Here are a few glimpses of the event.
