Paramita Ghosh from Dr. Madhav's group successfully presented work on Heterojunction growth theoretically. Title of open seminar : "Epitaxial growth of Si, Ge on 2 x 1 Reconstructed Si (001) : A Kinetic Monte carlo study". hetero-structure (Heterojunction) semiconductor were prepared by Herbert Kroemer (1957) Zhores Alferov (1963). Noble prize was also awarded to both of these people in 2000 for their work.
