The 10-day camp offers students training in various sports disciplines, dance, and art under the guidance of professional coaches and trainers. In his inaugural speech, the Principal encouraged students to unearth their talents and make the best use of them to develop a wholesome personality. He wished both the coaches and the students all the best for the camp's duration. On the vibrant morning of May 14th, 2024, St. Thomas School hosted a delightful Fancy Dress Competition dubbed 'Every Dress Tells a Tale' for the nursery, LKG, and UKG students. The event saw a charming array of tiny tots bedecked as fruits, vegetables, and various community helpers, each ensemble telling its own unique story. Excitement rippled through the air as the students paraded their creative costumes, their faces beaming with joy. What added to the thrill was the esteemed presence of the Principal, who graced the occasion with his attendance. St. Thomas School has achieved exceptional results in both the ICSE and ISC examinations, boasting a remarkable 100% pass rate in both. In the ICSE examinations, the top performers include Prakhar Gupta with an outstanding 98.4%, closely followed by Aindri Chaturvedi and Aditya Srivastava, both securing an impressive 97.8%, and Tanmay Mishra with a commendable 96.6%. Notably, a total of 41 students have surpassed the 90% mark threshold, reflecting the dedication and hard work of the entire cohort. Similarly, in the ISC examinations, the science stream witnessed stellar performances from Shresth Gupta, leading with an exceptional 98%, alongside Aksh*ta Gupta and Dev Shukla, achieving 95% and 94.2% respectively. In the commerce stream, Vanshika Pal emerged as the top scorer with 93.5%, closely followed by Archita Bajpai and Raunaq Rizwan with 92.25% and 91.75% respectively. On May 4th, 2024, the kindergarten section of the school joyously celebrated Red Day, immersing themselves in a vibrant sea of crimson attire. The young ones delighted the audience with a charming fashion parade, showcasing a plethora of characters and items adorned in the bold hue of red, ranging from fruits and vegetables to various other objects. Their performance extended beyond the runway as they gracefully danced, portraying the essence of the color red. The highlight of the event was when the tiny tots, accompanied by the Principal and school coordinator Sr. Shiji, came together to ceremoniously cut a red-themed cake. The Principal commended the students for their imaginative presentations and enlightened them about the significance of the color red in our lives. On April 26th, 2024, amidst a wave of joy and gratitude, St. Thomas School celebrated Principal's Day, coinciding with the momentous occasion of the 22nd Anniversary of the Priestly Ordination of Rev. Fr. Melwin Wilson D'Souza, the esteemed Principal of our school. The day was a testament to the deep admiration and respect the students hold for Father Melwin. With heartfelt prayers and mesmerizing dances, the students expressed their appreciation for his guidance and leadership. A poignant skit beautifully portrayed Father Melwin's journey of inspiration and service to God and His people, leaving a lasting impression on all present. STS Family bid farewell to the outgoing students of class XII on 3rd February 2024. .The farewell ceremony was organized by the students and teachers of class XI which was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers, to reminisce joyous moments. The dignitaries as well as the outgoing students were accorded a traditional welcome. The entire school community prayed for the students of class XII and wished them all the best in their future endevours.
The students presented a meaningful skit that gave a message to the outgoing students that they should not get confused in their lives but persevere in their hope and achieve big dreams. The school choir group presented beautiful melodies that filled the auditorium with feelings of nostalgia. The cultural programme showcased the multiple talents of class XI students who presented entertaining group dance and singing performance.
During the farewell ceremony the staff members blessed the students and prayed for their bright future. The Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Rajesh Simon, exhorted the students to work smartly in the coming days so that they excel in their exams. He gave meaningful tips to achieve success in their lives. The Principal, Rev. Fr. Melwin Wilson D'Souza, shared his happy memories with the students and motivated them to seek happiness in their lives rather than success. He also invited them to remember the school motto and serve the country with utmost dedication. All students and staff relished the farewell buffet as the day came to an emotional close.
St. Thomas School organized a grand 'Award Ceremony' on 27th January 2024. It has been the endeavour of the school to motivate the students to take part in various co-curricular activities so that there is holistic development of their personalities. The students participated in all the activities with great zeal. Award Ceremony was the moment to recognize their hard work and competitive spirit. The ceremony was presided over by Rev. Fr. Francis Xavier, the manager of St. Thomas School. The 'Overall Championship' was bagged by St. Patrick's House.
