पुराने कारोबारियों की रिवायत थी कि वे सुबह दुकान खोलते ही एक छोटी-सी कुर्सी दुकान के बाहर रख देते थे। ज्यों ही पहला ग्राहक आता, दुकानदार कुर्सी को उस जगह से उठाकर दुकान के अंदर रख देता था।
लेकिन जब दूसरा ग्राहक आता, तो दुकानदार बाज़ार पर एक नज़र डालता और यदि किसी दुकान के बाहर कुर्सी अभी भी रखी होती, तो वह ग्राहक से कहता-‘’आपकी ज़रूरत की चीज़ उस दुकान से मिलेगी। मैं सुबह का आग़ाज़ (बोहनी) कर चुका हूँ।’’
किसी कुर्सी का दुकान के बाहर रखे होने का अर्थ था कि अभी तक दुकानदार ने आग़ाज़ नही किया है।
यही वजह थी कि जिन ताजीरों (कारोबारियों) में ऐसा अख़लाक़, ऐसी मोहब्बत हुआ करती थी, उन पर बरकतों का नुज़ूल हुआ करता था।
आप पोस्ट पढ़ते वक़्त जमाने, भाषा, मुल्क या मज़हब पर न जाइएगा क्योंकि बात मूल्यों की है। बात अच्छाई की है, सीखने की है और अच्छी बात के लिए काहे का मज़हबी सवाल या मुल्क का मसला। वैसे भी हम 'जीयो और जीने दो' वाली माटी के हैं, जो पूरी दुनिया को एक परिवार मानती है।
