Mother’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy on 15 May 2026 at The Ganges World School, Rooma. The programme was organized to express love, gratitude, and respect towards mothers for their endless care and sacrifices.

The celebration began with a warm welcome to all the guests and mothers present in the school auditorium. Students presented various cultural performances including songs, dances, poems, and speeches dedicated to mothers. The performances beautifully highlighted the importance of mothers in every child’s life.

On this special occasion, the School Secretary, Mrs. Neeru Singh, addressed the gathering and explained the importance of mothers in one’s life. She spoke about the unconditional love, care, and support that mothers provide to their children. She encouraged students to always respect, love, and care for their mothers and appreciate their sacrifices.

The School Principal, Mrs. Prabha Chawla, distributed gifts to all the prize-winning mothers and congratulated them for their dedication and contribution towards their children’s upbringing. The mothers felt honoured and appreciated during the ceremony.

Her inspiring words and the joyful celebrations made the event memorable for everyone present. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and a message to honour and cherish mothers every day.

Earth Day at Ganges World School, Jajmau, Kanpur was celebrated with great enthusiasm and purpose. The day began with a special assembly and a thoughtful skit, setting the tone for awareness and responsibility towards our planet. 🌱
Our respected Principal Ma’am and Director Sir initiated the celebration with plantation, symbolizing a step towards a greener future. An exciting class-wise competition was held where students showcased their creativity through charts, posters, and projects, beautifully expressing their ideas on environmental conservation.
The projects were thoughtfully evaluated, and students were engaged through interactive questioning. Our esteemed judges, Director Sir, Mr. Akshat Jaiswal, Principal Ma’am Mrs. Mary Chatterji, and Dr. Anjali Bajpayee, Faculty at IIT Kanpur, visited each class and appreciated the efforts of the young learners.
