A spectacular celebration of India’s 80th Independence Day at Ganges World School, Jajmau!
The celebration began with the proud Flag Hoisting by our Director Sir and respected Principal Ma’am, setting the tone for a day filled with patriotism and pride. 🇮🇳
Our little Kindergarten superstars charmed everyone with their sweet speeches and lively dance performances, followed by energetic dance performances and a magnificent human pyramid by the students of Classes 5–8, beautifully showcasing unity and teamwork.
Amidst the celebrations, our Director Sir addressed the gathering with inspiring words, adding meaning and warmth to the occasion. This was followed by powerful speeches and a mesmerising skit by the students of Class 9, bringing alive the spirit of our nation.
The programme concluded on a melodious and patriotic note with a soulful choir performance by our teachers, filling the atmosphere with pride and love for our nation.

The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour at The Ganges World School, Rooma, Kanpur. The school campus was beautifully decorated with the colours of the national flag, creating an atmosphere of pride and patriotism.

The programme commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Students presented a variety of cultural performances, including patriotic songs, dances, and speeches, showcasing their love and respect for the nation.

On this occasion, the Principal, Mrs. Prabha Chawla, addressed the gathering and delivered an inspiring speech on patriotism. She encouraged students to become responsible citizens and contribute positively towards the progress and development of the country.

The Chief Guest, Mr. Akshat Jaiswal, also shared his valuable thoughts and kind words with the students. He highlighted the importance of unity, discipline, and dedication in building a strong and prosperous nation. His motivational address inspired the students to uphold the values of freedom and national pride.

The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks and the distribution of sweets among the students. The event served as a reminder of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and inspired everyone to work towards a brighter future for the nation.

Leadership Begins with Responsibility. Excellence Begins with Commitment. ✨🎖️
The Investiture Ceremony 2026–27 at Ganges World School, Jajmau was a moment of immense pride, honour, and inspiration as we officially entrusted our newly elected student leaders with the responsibility of leading by example.
Graced by the presence of our honourable director and our respected principal, the ceremony marked the formal investiture of the Prefectorial Board. As badges were conferred and the oath of office was taken, our young leaders pledged to uphold the values of integrity, discipline, dedication, and service, promising to lead with compassion, confidence, and commitment.
The occasion also celebrated the spirit of excellence beyond academics. We proudly honoured our little superstars from Class 1, who brought immense pride to Ganges World School, Jajmau by winning Gold Medals in the Under-20 kg category at the 1st Grand Invitational Open National Taekwondo Championship 2026.

The Ganges World School, Rooma, Kanpur, celebrated its Investiture Ceremony with great pride and enthusiasm, marking the formal appointment of the Student Council for the academic session. The event reflected the school's commitment to nurturing leadership, discipline, responsibility, and service among its students.

The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and the school prayer, creating an atmosphere of dignity and solemnity. The newly elected office bearers and house captains marched in with confidence, symbolizing their readiness to shoulder the responsibilities entrusted to them.

The students were also entrusted with the responsibility of leading the school's four houses—Tulip House, Lavender House, Orchid House, and Daffodil House—which play a vital role in promoting healthy competition, teamwork, and all-round development throughout the academic year.

The Principal, Mrs. Prabha Chawla, conferred the badges and sashes upon the newly elected leaders. The Student Council members then took the oath of office, pledging to uphold the values of integrity, discipline, commitment, and service.

Addressing the gathering, Principal Mrs. Prabha Chawla congratulated the student leaders and encouraged them to lead by example. She emphasized that leadership is not merely about holding a position but about serving others with honesty, humility, and dedication. At Ganges World School, Jajmau, learning goes beyond textbooks and flourishes through expression, creativity, and confidence.

The Inter-House Competitions in Hindi Writing, English Writing, English Story Writing, and Art provided students a vibrant platform to showcase their imagination, linguistic skills, and artistic vision. Each participation reflected dedication, originality, and the spirit of healthy competition that inspires students to think critically and express themselves fearlessly. Today, certificates were awarded to the position holders, celebrating not just achievement but also effort, perseverance, and the journey of learning.

Mother’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy on 15 May 2026 at The Ganges World School, Rooma. The programme was organized to express love, gratitude, and respect towards mothers for their endless care and sacrifices.

The celebration began with a warm welcome to all the guests and mothers present in the school auditorium. Students presented various cultural performances including songs, dances, poems, and speeches dedicated to mothers. The performances beautifully highlighted the importance of mothers in every child’s life.

On this special occasion, the School Secretary, Mrs. Neeru Singh, addressed the gathering and explained the importance of mothers in one’s life. She spoke about the unconditional love, care, and support that mothers provide to their children. She encouraged students to always respect, love, and care for their mothers and appreciate their sacrifices.

The School Principal, Mrs. Prabha Chawla, distributed gifts to all the prize-winning mothers and congratulated them for their dedication and contribution towards their children’s upbringing. The mothers felt honoured and appreciated during the ceremony.
