Renowned industry leader and founder of Rajata Chemicals, Mr. Rajata Mehra, recently held an expert lecture and interactive session at Radhakrishna auditorium, where he spoke on topics such as MSMEs, startups, jobs, and chemical technologies. The event was a resounding success, with students and attendees leaving the session feeling inspired and equipped with valuable knowledge.
During the Q&A session, Mr. Mehra fielded questions on a variety of topics. When asked about whether to pursue a job or a startup, he advised students to evaluate their strengths, weaknesses, and personal goals before making a decision. For those who have a clear business idea and are willing to take risks, starting a business might be the better choice. However, those who prefer stability and structured growth might find a job to be the better option.
Another topic that generated interest was the role of chemical technologies in promoting sustainable development. Mr. Mehra explained that chemical technologies could be used to develop sustainable products and processes that minimize waste and reduce carbon emissions. Examples of such applications include biodegradable plastics, renewable energy sources, and water treatment systems.
Finally, Mr. Mehra addressed the challenges faced by MSMEs and how they can overcome them. He noted that MSMEs often struggle with access to finance, lack of market knowledge, and inadequate infrastructure. To overcome these challenges, he recommended that MSMEs focus on networking, building strong partnerships, and investing in digital marketing and e-commerce platforms.
Overall, Mr. Rajata Mehra's expert lecture and interaction session provided valuable insights on a variety of topics, leaving attendees inspired and equipped with knowledge to pursue their goals. The event was a resounding success, thanks to the entire Team of IIChE
