When asked about whether to pursue a job or a startup, he advised students to evaluate their strengths, weaknesses, and personal goals before making a decision. For those who have a clear business idea and are willing to take risks, starting a business might be the better choice. However, those who prefer stability and structured growth might find a job to be the better option.
Another topic that generated interest was the role of chemical technologies in promoting sustainable development. Mr. Mehra explained that chemical technologies could be used to develop sustainable products and processes that minimize waste and reduce carbon emissions. Examples of such applications include biodegradable plastics, renewable energy sources, and water treatment systems.
Finally, Mr. Mehra addressed the challenges faced by MSMEs and how they can overcome them.
