India may have produced some of the world's best mathematicians, but math anxiety continues to affect thousands of children from across the country.

Our team at Cuemath surveyed 1,600 children between Grade 7 and Grade 10 – 880 boys and 720 girls – to understand how they responded to math, and one thing remained common: Math anxiety impacted their performance, and the stigma was far more significant in higher grades.
