Yoga and mindfulness have been shown to improve both physical and mental health in children. Yoga improves balance, strength, endurance, and aerobic capacity in children. Yoga and mindfulness offer psychological benefits for children as well. A growing body of research has already shown that yoga can improve focus, memory, self-esteem, academic performance, and classroom behavior, and can even reduce anxiety and stress in children.
Children of CHS Education Centre Kanpur Dehat performed sitting and standing asanas, importance of these were explained simultaneously.

On the occasion of 'International Yoga Day' 2022, the teachers, students and principal of CHS Education Centre Tatya Tope Nagar gathered together in the school premises to celebrate this day. Following the theme of *'Yoga For Humanity '*, all practiced various yogasans beginning with Surya namaskar and moving to several more like Trikonasana, Padmasana, Tadasana, Vrikshasana, Katichakrasan, Anuloma pranayama along with others followed by omkar chanting. The benefits of the postures were narrated by the Yoga teacher side by side as children performed with the instructions expounding the importance of meditation and pranayama, in day to day life.

The ongoing 9 day summer camp at CHS Education Centre, Tatya Tope Nagar concluded on 6th June. In this summer camp children displayed their creative skills through Skating, Drum, Dance, Judo-Karate, Adventure Sports, Badminton, Volleyball and Art & Craft. The school principal Ms. Jyoti Vij awarded prizes to the children.
The news of the conclusion of the summer camp was also published in leading newspapers.
