Shivlok Sanskrit Pratisthan, Meharban Singh Ka Purwa, Kanpur Nagar a registered society, under the provisions of U.P. Societies Registration Act, 1860. Established a legal education center named Ch. Ram Gopal Singh Vidhi Mahavidyalaya, Meharban Singh ka Purwa, Kanpur Nagar for importing legal education for the purpose of Advocates Act, 1961.

Ch. Ram Gopal Singh Law College was established in the year 2007 in its prime location of South City in Kanpur. The college offered 3-year LL.B. course first, later on, in the year 2015, for the betterment of society College introduced Integrated B.A. LL.B. 5 year honors course for 10+2 standard students. Both these courses are affiliated by C.S.J.M. University, Kanpur, and recognized by Bar Council of India, New Delhi.

It is a private un-aided Law College which abides the rules and regulations meant for Self-finance college like us by the State Government, concerned University, Bar Council of India and U.G.C. The aims and objectives of the college for imparting legal education are -Impart high-quality legal education and professional training to its students.

Enable its students to pursue a career at the bar, judicial services, civil services, armed forces, corporate sectors and such other organizations.

Transform students as embodiment of dignity ethical and moral values and visible sense of National Pride.

I, as the Principal of the institution, feel greatly honored in being associated with the college. I have the opportunity of making my little contribution and effort in building the college.

The status of the college has gained today could not at all have been possible without the efforts, participations and support of Hon’ble Sukhram Singh Yadav Ji (Member of Rajya Sabha), Sri A***n Chaudhary (Hon’ble Director of Management Committee), faculty members and Staff.

The 13 th batch of students enjoying ultra modern teaching facilities. A pool of experienced and highly qualified faculty members, who are expert in different streams of law, social sciences and humanities are available to nurture the young talents to shape into worthy citizens and successful professionals. The college library have valuable legal resource including collection of standard books, journals, periodicals. As a part of curriculum, it is mandatory for every student to undergo an internship program me in order to have clinical learning experience while making along with repudiated lawyers, law firms and with the Hon’ble Judges. Co-curricular and extra curricular activities like discussions on the burning issues, moot court, legal aid clinic, debates and cultural activities are encouraged of the personality of students.

College makes every possible efforts to be consistent endeavor to elevate the standard of the college looking in view the welfare and upliftment of the students to enable them in their fields in modern era. For the upliftment of college, management along with faculty members and staff are going to improved
the facilities for the students likewise indoor games, career advancement scheme and to develop competitive skills. For the betterment of poor students remedial classes will have arranged by college authority.
College authorities make every possible efforts to be a part of every event organized by various college at national level. I appeal to all students, faculty members, staff and parents to co-operate and encourage our best efforts in this direction. I hope that with the present pace of learning and growth, together, we will beable to achieve this objective.

Our college environment is conducive for students to acquire requisite skill-set as we encourage participation in various curricular and co-curricular activities, such as Moot Court Competition, Trial Advocacy, Debates, Elocution, Conference, workshop, and classroom discussion. In the year 2007 this legal education center was established under penumbra of Shivlok Sanskrit Pratishthan registered society under the societies registration Act, 1860 in the name of Ch. Ram Gopal Singh Vidhi Mahavidyalaya. The aim and objective of this college to impart legal education. Therefore college offered both the two course traditional LL.B. 3 years & Intregrated B.A. LL.B. 5 years course. After the death of Ch. HarmohanSingh Yadav in year 2012, Ch. Sukhram Singh Yadav currently the member of Rajya Sabha, become the Patron of college with the goal to develop civics sense among the students. It isvery much important to explore the political career of Ch. Sukhram Singh Yadav briefly.

Chaudhary Sukhram Singh is carrying forward the glorious legacy of Tau and father:

He has a unique record as a minister. He served as a minister from December 4, 1993 to June 3, 1995, during the chief ministership of Mulayam Singh Yadav.In August 2004, he was elected as the Chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council. Even in the matter of social service, Chaudhary Sukhram Singh is second to none.

He actively participates in social service programs and is also running an old age home in the name of his father. According to the wishes of his tau and father, Chaudhary ji has also kept himself actively associated with the YadavMahasabha.

He is the National General Secretary of the Yadav Mahasabha for a long time and has started many programs for the development of all in every part of the country. Chaudhary Sukhram Singh ji wants that every person of society should be educated. Due to the political career of Sukhram Singh Yadav M.P. Rajya Sabha, he is unable to manage day to day affair of the college, Mr.A***n Chaudhary was appointed as a director by the management committee.
