**Should the NEET Biology Syllabus Be Upgraded?**

As Biology educators, we have witnessed significant changes in the NEET syllabus over the years. While syllabus rationalization has reduced content, an important question remains:

**Are we preparing future doctors with sufficient biological understanding, or are we limiting their academic foundation?**

I believe it is time to discuss whether the NEET Biology syllabus should be upgraded and made more course-oriented, incorporating deeper concepts from Genetics, Biotechnology, Physiology, Ecology, and recent advancements in Biological Sciences.

A stronger syllabus can:
✅ Improve conceptual understanding.
✅ Better align with MBBS curriculum requirements.
✅ Encourage scientific thinking rather than rote learning.
✅ Prepare students for future developments in medicine and life sciences.

I would like to hear the views of Biology Faculties, Academic Heads, Medical Educators, and NEET Mentors across India.

**Should the Biology syllabus remain as it is, or should it be expanded and upgraded to meet the demands of modern medical education?**
