B.sc (Hons) Agriculture

Bachelor of Science Honours in Agriculture is an undergraduate Agriculture Science and Technology course. Agriculture is a science or practice of farming, including cultivation of the soil for the growing of crops and the rearing of animals to provide. The duration of the course is four years. Agriculture includes the study of various methods of agriculture, the use of modern fertilizers for the improvement of crops and the ways to improve the present technique of Agriculture with the help of modern technology. The study under B.Sc. in Agriculture (Honours) includes the use of various technological aspects for the betterment of agriculture. The degree course is an important as India’s most of the population is engaged in the sector; it opens many career scopes for the candidates after its successful completion.

B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture Course Suitability?
They should have good knowledge of science, and be familiar with crops, pastures, soil types, agricultural and horticultural chemicals.
