Experiential learning is the soul of our Pre-Primary Wing at DPS Kangra. Believing that children learn best through real-life experiences, the students of Grade Prep visited a hair salon as part of their project on "Hair." The young learners explored the importance of personal grooming and hair care, observed the tools used in a salon, and understood how keeping hair clean contributes to good hygiene and overall well-being. The visit was both educational and engaging, making learning meaningful through hands-on experiences and joyful discovery.

✨ "A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way." ✨

Delhi Public School Kangra proudly hosted its Investiture Ceremony 2026–27, a momentous occasion dedicated to recognizing and empowering the young leaders of tomorrow.

The ceremony was graced by our esteemed Chief Guest, Ms. Nisha Kumari, DSP Dharamshala, whose inspiring presence and words of wisdom motivated students to embrace leadership with courage, integrity, and a sense of responsibility.

The newly elected Student Council members were formally invested with badges and entrusted with their duties, taking a solemn oath to uphold the values of the school and lead by example. The event marked the beginning of a new chapter of service, commitment, and excellence for our young leaders.

Delhi Public School Kangra is delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievement of its talented students, who emerged as proud winners at the 4th Invitational Matsogi-Do Taekwondo Championship 2026 held at DY Patil School.

Demonstrating exceptional skill, discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship, our young Taekwondo athletes delivered remarkable performances and brought glory to the school.

Their success reflects countless hours of practice, unwavering determination, and the spirit of never giving up. We applaud each participant for their dedication and commend our coaches and mentors for their invaluable guidance.

As part of the Kaushal Bodh Vocational Education programme under the theme Work with Life Forms: Agriculture, students of Classes 6A and 6B visited a nearby organic farm to gain firsthand exposure to sustainable farming practices.

During the visit, students observed a variety of crops growing in the fields, including corn, chilli, okra, brinjal, cucumbers, gourds, and pumpkins. They explored different sections of the farm, including the mushroom production unit and the cold storage facility, gaining a deeper understanding of how agricultural produce is cultivated, harvested, and preserved.

Students enthusiastically interviewed the farm owners to learn about organic farming methods, daily farm operations, the challenges faced by farmers, and the dedication required to ensure that food reaches our tables.

This enriching experience provided valuable insights into sustainable agriculture and helped students develop an appreciation for the dignity of labour, responsible use of natural resources, and the vital role farmers play in our lives. Learning beyond the classroom allows students to connect academic concepts with real-world experiences, making education more meaningful, engaging, and impactful.
