Andulia Saroj Sarosija Bala High School(Higher Secondary) or Andulia S. is a co-education day school in a village called Andulia. It was founded in 1953 by the efforts of a group of great people and named after Mr. Sarosija Bala who had donate the land. This school is aided and recognized by West Bengal Board of Secondary Education(WBBSE) and West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education(WBCHS
E) with Index No.- E4-004. The school houses roughly 1600 pupils aged 9 to 18. Admission to the school is based on a form shortlist and an interview. Every year in January, the school admits pupils from 5th standard to 11th standard. Pupils are offered Humanities subjects in 11th grades. INFRASTRUCTURE & FACILITIES:
There are one big U-shaped school building with 18 rooms and halls. And the school premise is gardened through "Nirmal Vidyalay Avijan" by the hard work of Mr. Dinabondhu Haldar, Assit. Teacher of this school with thousands of trees & plant. School has a big play ground with another big garden planted mostly 'Sishu' trees. School has well maintained Library with hundreds of books and a good Laboratory for students. A modern COMPUTER LAB is set by the school for giving the information technology exposure to its village students to built their skills and give a tough competition to their competitor in future. School provide nutritionally & hygienically valued mid day meal to its students under govt. "MID DAY MEAL SCHEME" under the supervision of a group of teacher. Students learn not only academic courses but get opportunity to participate in sports and various cultural events in school and compete with district and state level.
