The Annual Sports Day of Eastern Railway High School, Kanchrapara, was celebrated with great enthusiasm. Sri Subhas Chandra, Chief Works Manager, Kanchrapara, graced the event as the Chief Guest, along with Sri Kundan Kumar Sahay, Deputy CPO/Kanchrapara, and other dignitaries. Teachers, staff, and students participated wholeheartedly.
The event began with the lighting of the Diya by the Honorable CWM/Kanchrapara. Various sports competitions, including races, long jump, and sack race, kept the excitement high. A cultural program by students added to the celebration.
A special highlight of the event was the Science Exhibition organized by the students of Eastern Railway High School. Young innovators like Srijit Kanjilal, Aditya Ray, Subhra Mondal, and Aparna Choudhary showcased their scientific models, impressing the audience with their creativity and knowledge.
The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where CWM and Dy. CPO, Kanchrapara awarded medals and certificates to the winners, encouraging them to excel. The day ended on a high note, celebrating teamwork, sportsmanship, and innovation.
