๐๐ฃ๏ธ International Mother Language Day | 21st February ๐ฃ๏ธ๐
21st February is observed worldwide as International Mother Language Day โ a tribute to linguistic diversity, multilingual education and the preservation of mother tongues.
Language is more than a medium of communication. It carries our culture, identity, history and emotions. This significant day traces its roots to the historic Language Movement of 1952, when brave individuals sacrificed their lives to protect the right to speak their mother tongue. Their courage reminds us that respecting linguistic diversity is essential for peace, unity and mutual understanding.
At Techno India Group Public School, Kanchrapara, we believe every language deserves dignity and recognition. A childโs mother language strengthens cognitive development, builds cultural roots and nurtures confidence and creativity.
On this occasion, we encourage our students to take pride in their own language while appreciating the richness of others. Let us pledge to preserve, promote, and respect all languages so that none fade away with time.
โจ โLanguage is the key to the heart of a culture.โ
