The Department of Forensic Medicine SRM MCH & RC proudly presents "Medicus-ad victimam legalis" a one of a kind symposium dwelling on the order of the day "Doctor and Criminal Negligence". To enlighten us we have Dr.B.Cheran, Legal advisor Indian Medical Association Tamilnadu chapter.

Doctors today are given no quarter; they are subject to assaults from all turfs legal, social and from patients. No contingent will save us, we are and will always be a one man army. Given this critical situation of doctors, it is wise that we equip ourselves with appropriate arms to defend ourselves, for we stand alone in this epic battle. This symposium attempts to do just this.
