🔬 Students from the Pharmacology Department of Smt. Kishoritai Bhoyar College of Pharmacy, under the guidance of the Institute Innovation Council (IIC), had an enriching industrial visit to ESSEM Compliance Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Nagpur on 03rd April 2025!
👩‍🔬👨‍🔬 A batch of 32 students and 2 faculty members explored practical aspects of regulatory toxicology and ecotoxicological research, with a special focus on zebrafish as an experimental model.
📚 Sessions by Mr. Mangesh Barbate, Dr. Balaji A. P. B., Ms. Surbhi Kumra, and Mr. Suraj Zade provided deep insights into GLP-compliant facilities, regulatory frameworks, animal facility management, and the critical importance of documentation and instrumentation in pharmaceutical research.
🌟 This visit, coordinated by Dr. Manish M. Aglawe and Dr. Shubhada Mangrulkar, provided valuable real-world exposure, strengthening the students’ preparedness for careers in pharmaceutical R&D, regulatory affairs, and toxicological research! 🙏 A heartfelt thank you to our respected Principal, Prof. Milind Umekar Sir, for his constant encouragement and support in facilitating such valuable learning opportunities.

An enlightening session on “Careers in API Industry” was successfully conducted on 22nd April 2025 by the Training and Placement Cell of Smt. Kishoritai Bhoyar College of Pharmacy, Kamptee.

The session was graced by the presence of Mr. Vinayak Phadnis, Plant Head, along with Mr. Amit Kumar, Manager QC, and Mr. Swapnil Bhoj, Manager QA from IPCA Laboratories, Wardha.

Students gained invaluable insights into the regulatory aspects of API manufacturing and explored exciting career opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry.

We also extend our sincere gratitude to Principal Prof. Milind Umekar for his constant encouragement and to Dr. Rashmi Trivedi, Dean, Training and Placement, for her dedicated efforts in organizing this wonderful session for the benefit of our students.

Congratulations to Ms. Dhanashree Nibrad (M. Pharm) and Ms. Jagruti Yadav (B. Pharm) for receiving the prestigious Lupin Scholar Award along with a cash prize of ₹30,000 each for their exceptional academic achievements.

Kishoritai Bhoyar College of Pharmacy, Kamptee embarked on an exciting educational tour to Delhi, Mussoorie, Dehradun, Rishikesh, Haridwar, and Nainital. From historical marvels to serene landscapes, every moment was a perfect blend of learning and fun!

A special appreciation to teaching faculty members Dr. Nitu Wankhede, Dr. Shubhada Mangrulkar, Dr. Mayur Kale, and non-teaching faculty member Mr. Amol Nawle for their unwavering support and guidance, making this journey even more enriching and memorable for the students.

We are happy to congratulate our students on their achievements in the Scientific Poster Presentation Competition at the National Conference on “Innovation in Pharmaceutical Sciences: Research, Reality, and Challenges.” The event was organized by KDK College of Pharmacy & Research Institute, Nagpur, and Bhavusaheb Mulak College of Pharmacy, Umrer, in collaboration with the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI). Ms. Mahin Fatima Nizami, a second-year D. Pharm student, won the 1st prize in the Diploma category, while Ms. Madhuri Gawai, a second-year M. Pharm student from the Pharmaceutics Department , secured the 3rd prize in the M. Pharm category. We sincerely thank Principal Prof. Milind J. Umekar for his continuous guidance and support, which helps our students excel in academics.
