Only woman photography artisan of NE India delivered an interesting talk on her journey as the only Sony Artisan Woman Photographer of North East India. This was organised to commemorate the International Women's Day on 8th March, 2026.
The delivery was followed by an interactive session with the students.

An Alumni Meet was organised by the College on 7th March, 2026 at Poet Nilmani Phookan Auditorium.

Former students from different departments of Science, Arts, Commerce, BCA, BSc IT attended the event and shared their experiences of studying in this institution.

It was a day to reminisce as many of them spoke about how student life and co-curricular activities went in hand-in-hand during their years in LCB College.

It is also worth mentioning that they could recall anecdotes that happened during classes and how interactions and narratives created a moment of nostalgia for most of the faculty members.

118 former stuents graced the occasion in total and the programme ended with wonderful rendition of songs and a homage to the Cultural Icon, Zubeen Garg.

Dr. Manisha Deka , alumnus and faculty member of our College was also felicitated for her newly achieved Doctorate degree.

The programme ended on a happy note with the reiteration that Alumni Meets need to happen more often.

Prize distribution ceremony of College Week, 2026 held in the Poet Nilmani Phookan Auditorium on 28th February 2026.

In this college week Nayan Jyoti Deka of BA 4th sem has been selected as Best singer and he received 'Binay-Ratna Memorial Best Singer Award' which consists of Rs. 5000/- , a trophy & a certificate.

On the occasion of International Mother Language Day the Cluster departments of Languages ( Assamese, Bengali, English & Hindi) jointly with Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Birth Centenary Celebration Committee organised a Quiz Competition in Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Conference Hall.

Theme of the Quiz Competition was " Dr. Bhupen Hazarika ".

Total 6 groups of students from different streams participated in this competition.
