A good problem!
What is that one everyday thing that you have no idea about?
When I was a kid, I had this notion that people living at the South Pole would 'fall down' !😂
Do you have any such physics misconception?

Nice and simple one

Great sum.
Find out the electric field at the centre of a hemisphere which is uniformly charged having a surface charge density β WITHOUT USING REGULAR WAY OF INTEGRATION. Instead you may use intuition. You may also use concept of taking small elements (NOT THE REGULAR WAY) . Also generalise the answer for a more general case. !

We have really spent a lot of time solving this one to the accurate answer. But, this is challenging!

A container with square base of length l is filled with water upto height h. The container have a small hole at height h. The water in the container starts to make small oscillations with small amplitude a; one side going up, other side coming down, so on... ie. The water level near the hole=a sin(ωt). The amplitude is independent of the height of water. When water rises above the hole, water comes out.
i) How much time will it take for water to stop coming out?
ii) How much water will be left in the container?
