A heartwarming celebration of love, gratitude, and togetherness at Julien Day School, Nursery, Kalyani as we celebrated Mother’s Day with great joy and enthusiasm.
The mothers of our nursery students graced the occasion and witnessed the beautiful performances presented by our little stars as a tribute to their loving mothers. Their innocence, smiles, and heartfelt performances made the day truly memorable.
The program was enriched by inspiring speeches delivered by our respected Principal Mr. Garfield D'Souza, Vice Principal Mr. P. Ravi Kumar Rao, Teacher-in-Charge Mr. Richard Green, and Junior Coordinator Ms. Philomena Rozario.
The celebration concluded with exciting games for the mothers, who participated wholeheartedly and added even more fun and laughter to the occasion.
A wonderful day dedicated to the unconditional love and endless care of mothers!

Mrs Sheila Evelyn Broughton has been honoured with the Femina Achievers 2025 West Bengal Award for her Excellence in Educational Entrepreneurship. This recognition celebrates her vision, dedication, and outstanding contribution to the Julien Day Group of Schools. Grand Parent's Day
Julian Nursery School, Kalyani, celebrated grandparents day on the 19th of September, 2025. The children were very excited as they had dressed like their grandparents. The grandparents were invited to school. A programme was organised specially for them. The children from Lower Nursery to class one sang, danced and said a few lines on their grandparents.
In the end a game,
'Passing the parcel' was organised for the grandparents. The grandparents were very excited.

SAPLING DAY

Julian Nursery School, Kalyani, celebrated Sapling Day on 25th June, 2025.The purpose behind this event is to make children aware of the importance of plants and trees in our surrounding . All the children, starting from Lower Nursery to kindergarten participated in this programme. They were asked to bring saplings of their choice. After the morning assembly the children proceeded to their respective classrooms. The class teachers. explained to the children the benefits of having trees in our environment., After studies the children were taken to the main school garden. Some of them planted saplings in the garden. All these activities were planned and done under the guidance of Principal Sir Mr G. D'souza our Teacher incharge Sir, Mr. R. Green our Junior Coordinator Ma'am, Ms. P. Rozario and our Head Teacher, Mrs. P. Sneyd. Mass photographs were taken, where the children were seen carrying their own plants The children loved the fun-filled activities and enjoyed themselves.

Julian Nursery School, Kalyani, celebrated the Parent's Walk Through theme for this year's on 31st of January, 2025. The Walk Through Dive into the ocean of Adventure. Keeping the theme in mind, all the students were asked to dress up as sea animals. In the morning the parents gathered in the school hall, where the children of different classes performed a dance or sang a song. Only the children of class I and Lower Nursery performed the ramp-walk. After the performances were complete, the parents were requested to visit the respective classrooms where the craft work done by their children were displayed. The classrooms were decorated according to the theme.

The children went home with their parents and the day ended with lot of satisfaction. The children, their parents and the teachers enjoyed the day very much.
