Nara medical university has developed universal artificial blood that works with all blood types — a major breakthrough for emergency care 🩸🚑.

since it doesn’t need refrigeration, it can be used in ambulances, airlifts, and remote clinics without worrying about blood type or cold storage.

phase-one trials with chuo university and the national defense medical college are in progress, and if successful, this innovation could be in global trauma kits by 2030 🌍đŸ§Ē.

Scientists have unveiled a mind-blowing breakthrough: contact lenses that enable vision with your eyes closed. đŸ¤¯

These next-gen lenses combine bio-optics and AI-enhanced micro-sensors to project visuals directly onto the retina, even through closed eyelids. Testers can already perceive light, motion, and outlines—all while resting their eyes.

Imagine the possibilities:
✅ Night surveillance
✅ Blind-assistive tech
✅ Immersive AR without glasses

Researchers are pushing toward color imaging, real-time translation, and infrared overlays—turning your eyelids into futuristic screens. The age of human augmentation is closer than ever.

Revolutionary Tiny Machine Cleans Cholesterol Without Surgery

Scientists have developed a revolutionary tiny machine that can remove cholesterol from blood vessels without the need for invasive surgery. This device is inserted through the femoral artery and travels through the bloodstream to reach blocked areas. Equipped with a miniature camera, surgeons can monitor the entire process in real-time.

When the device arrives at the blockage, it anchors itself securely. Balloons inflate to temporarily block blood flow, and if necessary, blood is pumped out and replaced with a clear saline solution to provide a clean working area. A specialized cutting blade then precisely targets and removes cholesterol deposits, carefully sparing the artery walls.

Once the deposits are cleared, the saline solution is removed, the balloons deflate, and normal blood flow resumes. This innovative concept by Dahir Insaat offers a promising new method to treat high cholesterol, a condition that causes dangerous plaque buildup leading to heart attacks and strokes.

Current treatments include angioplasty, which uses a catheter with a balloon to widen arteries, often with a stent placed to keep them open. Although less invasive than open-heart surgery, angioplasty still involves risks. More invasive options like coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) involve surgery to bypass blocked arteries but have longer recovery times.

New techniques like atherectomy use rotating blades or lasers to remove plaque but require specialized skills. This tiny machine could make artery cleaning easier, safer, and more accessible in the near future, improving quality of life for millions.

No surgery. No hormones. Just one injection that lasts two years.

For decades, male contraceptive options have remained virtually unchanged condoms or permanent vasectomy. But a new breakthrough could soon offer men a long-awaited alternative: ADAM, a non-hormonal, reversible male birth control developed by biotech firm Contraline.

Unlike traditional methods, ADAM doesn’t alter hormones or require daily effort. Instead, it uses an injectable hydrogel to physically block s***m. The gel is delivered through a minimally invasive procedure directly into the vas deferens the tube that transports s***m effectively preventing s***m from ever reaching semen during ej*******on.

What sets ADAM apart is its reversibility. Unlike vasectomies, which involve cutting and often irreversible surgical intervention, the hydrogel is designed to naturally degrade over time, typically within two years, restoring fertility without the need for another procedure.

Early clinical trials have delivered promising results. In a study involving 25 men, researchers found that semen samples showed no detectable s***m for up to 24 months after the injection. Even better, participants reported no serious side effects, signaling a strong safety profile in its early testing phase.

ADAM represents a possible paradigm shift in reproductive health giving men more control, while reducing the burden often placed solely on women when it comes to long-term contraception. Its non-hormonal design also avoids many of the side effects typically associated with hormonal birth control methods, such as mood swings or libido changes.

While still in the experimental stage, ADAM is a symbol of a long-overdue evolution in contraception. If it passes larger trials and regulatory approval, it could open a new chapter in how we think about shared responsibility in birth control.

The future of contraception may be simpler, safer, and more balanced and it may begin with one injection.
