Months of Training. One Finish Line. Berlin Marathon 2026

Nobody sees the early alarms. The long runs in the rain. The legs that wanted to quit at kilometre 35.

Today in Berlin, thousands of runners turned all of that into one moment under the ZIEL arch.

If you ran today, you already know. If you're thinking about it, this is your sign 🏅

Big update for anyone applying to a Master's in Germany from India.

APS India just introduced a new test called the dMAT, and it specifically applies to students from Engineering, Commerce/Finance, or Business/Management backgrounds. If that's you and you're planning to apply for the summer semester 2027 intake, this is something you need to know before you start your APS process.

Registration opens 29 June 2026, the test is on 26 September, and there are exemptions worth checking before you panic.

We've broken down who's affected, who's exempt, the full timeline, and what it does (and doesn't) change about your APS certificate.

Read it here:

We spent three months thinking German verb conjugation was impossible.

Every textbook made it look like you needed to memorise thousands of different forms. My brain couldn't handle it.
Then I figured out the secret: 90% of German verbs use the exact same six endings. Once you know those, you can conjugate almost anything.

The "irregular" verbs everyone worries about? Most of them still follow patterns. And the truly irregular ones (like haben and sein) are verbs you use so often that they become automatic within weeks.

I wish someone had told me this on day one. It would have saved me a lot of frustration.
If you're learning German and feeling overwhelmed by conjugation, I wrote everything I wish I'd known from the start. Real examples, practice exercises, and the patterns that actually matter.
