Children of Reang Tribe from Assam, Tripura & Mizoram visit to Hyderabad. It was a common observation in Tripura to see little children loitering in the streets or simply wasting away time instead of attending school. We are consistently working towards providing succor to the Reang (Brus) Tribal Children.

పేరుకు పదో తరగతి విద్యార్థులే...కనీసం ఎక్కాలు రాని దుస్థితి.. ఏడెనిమిది తరగతుల్లోకి వచ్చినా చిన్నచిన్న తెలుగు పదాలు కూడా చదవలేరు..

ఆంగ్లం, గణితం, సైన్స్...ఇలా ఏ సబ్జెక్టు తీసుకున్నా సరే...పదోతరగతి లోపు విద్యార్థుల్లో కనీస విద్యా సామర్థ్యాలు లేవని ప్రభుత్వ విద్యా నివేదికలే ఏటా వెల్లడిస్తున్నాయి..

అన్ని సబ్జెక్టుల్లోనూ ఉత్తీర్ణులై ఉన్నత తరగతులకు వెళ్లినా... నాలుగైదు తరగతుల్లోని పాఠ్యాంశాలపై విద్యార్థులకు కనీస అవగాహన ఉండదు.

అంతెందుకు డిగ్రీలు, పీజీలు చేసినా సరైన భావ వ్యక్తీకరణ సామర్థ్యాలు లేని కారణంగా నేటి యువతకు ఉద్యోగాలు రాని పరిస్థితి. వీటన్నింటికీ కారణం ఏమిటి? సమాజ అవసరాలకు అనుగుణంగా మార్పు చెందలేని నేటి విద్యావిధానమే అంటోంది... వందేమాతరం ఫౌండేషన్ ఆధ్వర్యంలోని "అక్షరవనం".

చదువంటే భయం, ఒత్తిడి లేకుండా ఆట పాటలతో అత్యంత సులువుగా నేర్చుకునే విద్యావిధానం తక్షణ అవసరమని గుర్తు చేస్తోంది..

సులువైన... ఆమోదయోగ్యమైన బోధన విధానాలపై ప్రయోగాత్మక పరిశోధన కొనసాగిస్తూ... సత్ఫలితాలు అందుకుంటోంది..

"Hellow everyone,

Please be patient to read the following lines which may completely change your teaching strategies and your way of understanding/assessing a child.

I have just completed my life's most valueble trip, you may call it my Mecca/Jerusalem/Kasi yatra. Infact it is more than that for me. It is the 'AKSHARA VANAM' run by Vandemataram Foundation near Kalwakurthy, 80 km from Hyderabad.

There are many great minds behind this idea and I should not miss to mention Sri Yadma Madhava reddy garu and Sri V. Sripathireddy garu who infact devoted their life to this organisation.(see enadu daily of 17th June).

I really have visualised what I have been in belief and failing to make believe others for a long time.

Do you believe that children here who were the most backward in the regular classes once(AV takes only these challenging children for their research), are excellent learners/teachers there now.

Do you believe that an eleven year old child is solving simultaneous equations without a paper/pencil in no time.

Do you believe that a village lad without any exposure to English is enjoing English films without any difficulty?

Do you believe that most of the children in AV were school dropouts and now they have already finished reading hundreds of books not related to their syllabus.

There are many to mention but space is the problem. And yes everything here is FREE.

This trip is really educative for me and my fellow visitors from many organisations like PCT, AHAM, Loksatta..... and many. This is more than studying thousands of pedagogy/child psychology books.

There are no words for me to praise the generocity, sacrifice and intellectual efforts of the people and their families in AV.
My dear friends, please pay a visit to this place, which I have already made our family's most favourite piligrimage centre."

నా కళ్ళు వర్షిస్తున్నాయి.. ఆనందంతో మనస్సు ఉద్వేగంతో ఉప్పొంగిపోతుంది.. జన్మకు సార్థకమవుతున్న క్షణాలు ఇవి..

విశాలంగా ఎదుగుతున్న వందేమాతరం విద్యా వటవృక్షానికి ఆధారమైన ఆత్మీయులందరీ అద్వితీయ విజయం ఇది..

చిన్నప్పుడే తల్లిదండ్రులను కోల్పోయి, అత్యంత పేదరికంలో పుట్టిన వల్లపు మహేష్ - ZPSS నర్సింహులపేట పాఠశాల హాస్టల్ లో ఉండి చదువుకున్నాడు..

ఒక పూట బడికి రెండో రోజు కూలి వెళ్ళితే అవసరాలు తీరని పేద బిడ్డ.. 2009 తొలుత నితిన్ భవన్ లో జరిగిన 10th camp కు వచ్చాడు..

ఆరిపోతుందనుకున్న ఆశల దీపానికి తైలం తోడైంది.. తొర్రూరు లొనే ఉంటూ పరీక్షల అనంతరం పాలిటెక్నిక్ ప్రవేశ పరీక్ష వ్రాసి నల్గొండ లో కాలేజ్ లో స్థానం సాధించాడు.. సూర్యాపేట లో హమాలి పని చేసే అన్న కు తోడుగా పనిచేస్తూ... పాలిటెక్నిక్ పూర్తి చేసి రాష్ట్ర స్థాయిలో 7th rank సాధించాడు..

గురునానక్ ఇంజనీరింగ్ కాలేజీలలో B.tech Seat వచ్చింది. హైదరాబాద్ లో ఉండడానికి గూడు లేక అవస్థలు పడుతున్న రోజుల్లో వందేమాతరం అభ్యర్థన మేరకు గురు దేవులు IIT రామయ్య గారు తన ఇంట్లో ఆశ్రయమిచ్చారు..వారికి సేవ చేస్తూ EEE లో GOLD Medal సాధించాడు.

CVR ENGINEERING COLLEGE లో M. Tech చేశారు. అత్యంత సంపన్నులు, కార్పొరేట్ పాఠశాలల నేపథ్యం గల వేలాది మంది విద్యార్థులు ఉన్న ఈ కళాశాలలో మొత్తానికే టాపర్ గా 99.8 గ్రేడ్ తో అత్యున్నత స్థానంలో నిలిచాడు..

కాలేజీ ఇచ్చే బంగారు పతాకాన్ని మహేశ్ సొంతం చేసుకున్నాడు.

గొర్రెలు కాచే ఈ పేద బిడ్డ మెడలో CSIR డైరెక్టర్ డా. తివారి నేడు గోల్డ్ మెడల్ ప్రదానం చేశారు..

మహేష్ కు 10 ఏళ్లు నుండి వందేమాతరం అమ్మానాన్నలగా వ్యవహరిస్తున్నది... ఈ బిడ్డను ప్రేమతో దీవించాల్సిందిగా ప్రార్థిస్తున్నాం..

దేశ భక్తితో భారత సైనిక రక్షణ విభాగంలో Technical Officer ఉద్యోగానికి అలహాబాద్ వెళుతున్నాడు..

ప్రపంచంలోకి అడుగీడపోతున్న 10th విద్యార్థులకు వందేమాతరం పరీక్షల ముందు పేద బిడ్డలకు అధ్యయన శిబిరాలు నిర్వహిస్తున్నది.. అనేక ప్రముఖుల ప్రసంగాల స్ఫూర్తి, జీవితం, ప్రపంచం పట్ల స్పష్టతకు వస్తున్న విద్యార్థులు విజయ పరంపరలో ఇలా ముందుకెళుతున్నారు..

ఈ విద్యా యజ్ఞానికి సహకరిస్తున్న విద్యా దాతలు, ఉపాధ్యాయులు, మిత్రులందరికీ కృతజ్ఞతాభినదనలు..

సగటు పేద బిడ్డ చదివితేనే సమానత్వం.. బడుగు బిడ్డల భవితతోనే సామాజిక న్యాయం..

ఇదే ప్రేరణతో పేద బిడ్డల జీవితాలలో వెలుగులు నింపుదాం...
