Respected sir,
We would like to draw your kind attention in connection to recently prescribed CCIM proposal regarding BAMS course and curriculum in the following way-
1. That sir, in the proposed course, this module reflects the categorical degradation pathway of the Ayurvedic system.
2. That sir, this module is nothing but a tricky way to generate the momentary below quality Ayurvedist and subsequently seems to have an apparent sound knowledge on subject of allopathic medicine.
3. That sir, right from the inception of the BAMS course and even prior to that, the valid importance was given to study basic principles of Ayurveda and to study the fundamental compendium like Charaka Samhita, Ashtanga Hridaya in specific and previously every time BAMS syllabus was made considering the importance of Basic Principles of Ayurveda and Samhitas. In every professional of BAMS course, the department of Basic Principles played an important role in respect to core core Ayurveda teaching.
4. That sir, in the present proposed syllabus only in the first semester of the first professional of BAMS course including magic fresher's course of two weeks, the subject Maulika Siddhanta has been incorporated. The subject Charaka Samhita has been completely discarded from the teaching subject.
5. That sir, Ayurveda is such a system which can not prevail its entity without the vivid knowledge and study of Basic Principles of Ayurveda and Charaka Samhita and Ashtanga Hridaya etc.
6. That sir, no system can be sustained without the fundamental principles of Ayurveda.
7. That sir, this proposed syllabus discarding the teaching subject Charaka Samhita in different professionals is the prime milestone to wash out the in-depth insight of Ayurveda.
8. That sir, we strongly protest the proposed syllabus against disregard to originality of Ayurveda.
therefore, may we request you to include the above subjects vividly with its theory and practical teaching and Examination and in the respective professional of the BAMS course to protect the demoralization of Ayurveda.
