Ms. Keerthi P Augustin , University 7th rank holder, in the Mass Communication Programme, Department of Mass Communication , WMO College, interacted with the students of English Department on 23/07/2025, Wednesday. Ms. Keerthi reminded the students of the importance of ADH ( Aim, Dream and Hardwork) . The interaction was of the sublime inspiration for the participants to let their ball roll on . PG department of English observed the World Environment Day with diverse programs in the name "Terra Nova," on 5th June 2025. The event featured several engaging activities and meaningful gestures that emphasized the importance of nurturing nature.Mr.NoufalMuneer(HOD)inaugurated the event by planting a sapling in front of the department.This symbolic gesture underscored the commitment of the institution toward fostering a greener planet. An elegant indoor plant was presented to the principal Dr. Viji Paul as a token of gratitude and a reminder of the vital role of greenery in indoor spaces. A photography competition was conducted with the theme "Toxicity Towards Nature," inviting participants to capture and portray the harmful impact of human activities on the environment.The entries showcased creativity and raised awareness about pressing environmental issues like pollution and habitat destruction. The 'Writing a Caption' competition was opened up to all members of the college. Participants expressed their thoughts and reflections on environmental conservation, emphasizing the importance of small but impactful contributions toward sustainability.The event marked enthusiastic participation from students and staff, demonstrating a collective concern for environmental preservation.

"Terra Nova" proved to be a meaningful and inspiring initiative, reflecting the institution's dedication to promoting ecological awareness and action.
