Alina lives with her mother in Boru. Her father works as a spot boy for a production house in Mumbai and gets to come home only once a year. Sometimes twice if luck and circumstances permit. Alina eagerly waits for her father’s return, only to have him leave again. Her father’s absence saddens her, but she understands that he has to stay away to provide for the family. And yet the longing for her father, for the warmth of a complete family never goes away.

Her mother tries to fill the emptiness. She runs a small beauty parlour from her humble home, determined to support Alina to dream. She believes that one day her daughter will change their lives and perhaps that of the villagers.

Alina aspires to be a CEO.

Her ambition is fueled by her desire to bring her family together and to give her mother the life of comfort she deserves.

Alina’s story is a story of every child who dreams beyond their circumstances, of every parent who sacrifices everything for the future of their children, and of the relentless spirit that refuses to be broken.

Thirteen years ago, a young boy walked through the gates of Refai Public School, Boru with quiet eyes and a curious mind.

He was brilliant in his studies, thoughtful in his approach, and deeply sincere in everything he did.

He wasn’t the loudest student in the room.
He didn’t seek attention.

Instead, he worked quietly. Patiently. Consistently.

He listened carefully in class. He asked questions that showed depth. He helped classmates who struggled. There was a humility about him that made everyone around him believe in him even more.

Year after year, he grew, not just as a student, but as a person.

The shy boy slowly found his voice. The quiet learner became someone others began to look up to. His teachers saw in him not just academic brilliance, but integrity, empathy, and leadership.

The same boy who once walked into Refai Public School with hesitant steps stood before the morning assembly as the Head Boy of the school.

Confident. Composed.

His name is Alfaaz. Today, he is in his 12th grade.

But what makes his story truly powerful is what he says about his future.

Alfaaz dreams of becoming a data scientist.

And even as he dreams of the future, he carries one promise in his heart.

He wants to give back.

He wants children growing up in villages like Boru to have the same chance he had to learn, to grow and to believe in themselves.

Tamannna- Hope

When Tamanna first started her journey with RPS, she carried fear instead of belief in herself. But with care, guidance and a safe space to grow, something beautiful happened. Over time, Tamanna began to bloom. Learning gave her the courage to dream, to express herself, her confidence grew and her eyes started to reflect the hope her name represents. Today, she stands as a reminder of what compassion, support and opportunity can achieve.

The mother beams with pride as her daughter excels, speaking fluent English and leading as head girl. But it’s not just in school where Tamanna shines, at home, she teaches her mother new things and fills her day with stories about her day at the school.
