Van Mahotsav initiated in 1950 by K.M. Munshi, aims to promote afforestation and environmental conservation across all states in India. The prominent Van Mahotsav 2025 theme is "Plant a Tree, Secure Our Future," highlighting the importance of planting trees for a greener and healthier planet.
As a part of Ban Mahotsav , all family members of GBTC Kalinga collaborated with department of forest , G Udaygiri and planted huge numbers plants in college campus.

An Art exhibition named "Kala Shree" has been started by respect principal sir, Govt. B.Ed Training College, Kalinga. We're thrilled to announce an art exhibition showcasing the vibrant talent of trainee teachers in GBTC Kalinag on 7th April 2025 . The venue was filled with awesome paintings by trainee teachers and the walls were full of colours. Really, its wonderful and made successful under the guidance of Art instructor Mr. Kishore Chandra Nayak. Thank you one and all.

Grand celebrations of Saraswathi pooja(Vasant Panchami) held on 2nd Feb,2025 in the college cultural hall along with the principal sir and students of one of the Indian prestigious institute RIE Bhubaneswar. This year celebrations are most memorable to all , because of our college principal sir and presence of RIE principal sir, excellent decoration from our young and dynamic Art instructor Mr. Kishore Chandra Sir and dedicated work of our student teachers.
