School building is in critical condition so we won't take risk to put children inside it this year ie. 2019 we are going to dismantle it. We have determined to reconstruct it at our own effort. Perhaps may get helping hands ,let's hope.

Established in early February 1992, B**h Pabak Primary School is located in a remote corner of the Kalimpong District, West Bengal, India.

B**h Pabak Primary School is located in a remote corner of the Kalimpong District, West Bengal, India. Back in 1992 where there was no school in the village, Late. Shri Pushpa Lal Adhikari donated a small plot of his land to build a school. His son Mr Devendra Adhikari along with the support of villagers established the school in early February 1992.
With very little resources and a bundle of dreams, this school has been a ray of light in this tiny settlement. And today, 26 years later, the school stands as a testament to the grit of the teachers and the glorious achievements of its past pupils.
The school has four volunteers taking care of the 39 enrolled students. A nominal fee of Rs. 150 is charged which is utilized in the basic upkeep of the school. There are no funds for providing the teachers with a basic salary or for the midday meals of the young kids, only the nursery has been covered by the ICDS.
In the long run, this lack of funds and resources might prove to be a major roadblock in keeping the school functioning. School may be closed in near future and the village may remain with no school.
