for securing the *Third Position and a cash prize of ₹70,000 in SIGN2SOUND,* a prestigious *global-level innovation competition* organized by the *IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) Kerala Chapter* in partnership with the *National Institute of Speech & Hearing (NISH)* and *IEEE DataPort* .

The competition spanned *six months (December 2025 – June 2026),* comprising three online phases and culminating in the grand finale held on *June 27, 2026, at ICFOSS, Thiruvananthapuram.*

The challenge required participants to develop AI- and machine learning-based systems capable of translating sign language into spoken audio in real time. By integrating computer vision, deep learning, and speech synthesis, *teams progressed from software models to functional hardware prototypes, contributing towards bridging the communication gap for deaf and hard-of-hearing communities.*

*Best wishes to the team for many more accomplishments and continued success in their future endeavours!* 💐☀️
