Andhra polytechnic Andhra Polytechnic was established at Kakinada, East Godavari District in 1946. The Community Polytechnic Scheme was established by M.H.R.D , Delhi.

Andhra Polytechnic (APT)., Kakinada was established in the year 1946.In 2006 Daimond Jubilee of APT was organised much grandly.15,000 diploma engineers passed out from APT till 2006. This institution holds the distinction of being the first Polytechnic College in Andhra Region. At Present, APT offers Diploma courses in 7 disciplines with an intake of 330 students. This institution is also offering

part-time Diploma courses with an intake of 600 students making the total strength 990. APT consists of well-equipped laboratories,and library with a Book strength of 15,036. More than 4000 people in and around Kakinada were directly benefited through this scheme from its inception. This is a Government Institution that functions on the policies and procedures supported by the Government orders under the Department of Technical Education, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad.

After release of the film # AttarintikiDare diproducer BVSN Prasad went to return the check given by # PawanKalyan.
Then pawan refused to take back
the
check which amounts about 70% of
first day collections.......
Instead # Pwanhas told him to
donate the
70% of first day collections to
National Social Security Fund.
This fund will support schemes for
weavers, toddy tappers, rickshaw
pullers, bidi workers
etc........!!!!
