The government’s quarterly survey on employment across eight sectors showed that the net addition of new jobs is only 64,000 in those sectors between April and June last year. The more worrisome number is that between the same period of time, 87,000 jobs were lost in the manufacturing sector, as reported by The Times of India.
Another point to be noted is that out of the 64,000 jobs created, 51,000 went to women and the rest 13,000 went to men.
The total number of employable graduates India added in 2017 was about 8 million. That means with just 64,000 jobs being added, most of the employable graduates are without a job. Thousands and thousands of Indian youth are reeling under stress and are in dire requirement of a job.

It's time to look for abroad opportunities.

Recently US Department of Education announced that it is no longer recognizing the -' ' the agency which accredits some of the small US universities.

International students attending schools that are being recognized by ACICS will not be allowed to get OPT (Optional practical training) and will not get H1B in Masters degree quota.

US Department of Education says-
This decision affects more than 16,000 international students in the United States attending nearly 130 Student and Exchange Visitor Program-certified schools and programs that are accredited by ACICS.

If you are a current or prospective student of these schools, it's better to move to a properly accredited university. Here is how to find a accredited school:

of ( )

Good standard US University is the one that is recognized by one of the following agencies. Following agencies are called as ‘Regional accreditation Agencies’. A University having ‘REGIONAL ACCREDITATION’ will be considered as a genuine one. These agencies will NOT accredit universities like Trivalley, UNVA.

of Degrees or Programs ( )

There are some accrediting organizations which will accredit particular degrees or departments in a university. These agencies are called as ‘NATIONAL ACCREDITATION AGENCIES’. Academic programs that have national accreditation will meet minimum requirements, such as lab facilities, enough research funds, infrastructure, set by the Agency.
For example: The Accreditation Board for Engineering & Technology (ABET) will accredit degrees in Engineering field.

Few National Accreditation Agencies that will accredit degrees are
-CAC – Will accredit computer Science Programs.
– Will accredit engineering degrees.
– Will give Accreditations for Medical Institutions.
– Will accredit Chemistry degrees.

US Department of Education is the governing body for the accreditation. It will not accredit any Universities or programs in the university. But it will officially recognize ‘Accreditation agencies’. These Agencies will accredit the universities. All the agencies listed above are recognized by US department of Education

Here are few schools that are under ACICS that US Department of Education is not recognizing.

1 Northwestern Polytechnic University
2 iGlobal University
3 Schiller International University
4 Stratford University
5 Virginia International University
6 Everest University
7 Coleman University
8 Colorado Heights University
