NSS Cadets Celebrate Independence Day in Tricolour Spirit at MDN Global School, Kaithal
Kaithal, 15 August 2026: MDN Global School, Kaithal, celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India with great enthusiasm, patriotic fervour, and a deep sense of national pride. The special assembly beautifully brought together the spirit of patriotism, respect for the sacrifices of freedom fighters, and a strong commitment towards the nation.
The programme commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by School Director Dr. Vinod Kumar, Chairperson Mrs. Nidhi Kansal, Manager Mr. Gaurav Garg, and Principal Dr. Sant Kaushik. The unfurling of the Tricolour was followed by the National Anthem, filling the entire campus with an atmosphere of pride and patriotism.
A solemn tribute was paid to the brave freedom fighters and martyrs who made the supreme sacrifice for the country's independence. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp before Bharat Mata symbolized reverence for the motherland and gratitude towards those who dedicated their lives to the nation.
The special assembly witnessed a vibrant array of patriotic songs, speeches, poetry recitations, dance performances, skits, and dance-dramas. Through their performances, students highlighted the struggles of India's freedom movement, the sacrifices of national heroes, the importance of unity and integrity, and the responsibilities of citizens in preserving the hard-earned freedom of the nation.
A special and deeply moving moment of the celebration was the participation of the NSS Cadets. With immense pride and dedication, the cadets took an oath to preserve and protect the freedom of India at the cost of their last breath. Their solemn pledge reflected their unwavering commitment to the nation and inspired the entire school community with the values of patriotism, courage, discipline, duty, and national service.
The NSS Cadets also reaffirmed their commitment to uphold the unity, integrity, sovereignty, and dignity of the country and to serve society with dedication and responsibility.
Addressing the students, Director Dr. Vinod Kumar emphasized that freedom is not merely a privilege but also a responsibility. He urged the students to respect the sacrifices of the nation's heroes and contribute towards building a strong, united, progressive, and responsible India.
Principal Dr. Sant Kaushik motivated the students to make discipline, honesty, hard work, patriotism, and service to the nation an integral part of their lives. He appreciated the participation of the NSS Cadets and students and encouraged them to become responsible citizens who carry forward the legacy of India's freedom fighters.
National flags were distributed among the students, who enthusiastically raised them with pride. The campus resonated with patriotic slogans and the vibrant colours of the Tricolour.
The celebration concluded with the collective singing of ‘Vande Mataram’ and the National Anthem. The special assembly left everyone inspired with a renewed sense of patriotism and a solemn resolve to cherish, protect, and preserve the freedom of the nation.
