डीएवी पुलिस पब्लिक स्कूल, कैथल में स्वतंत्रता दिवस का आयोजन हर्षोल्लास और देशभक्ति की भावना के साथ किया गया। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ विद्यालय प्रधानाचार्या श्रीमती अंजु गंभीर की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति में हुआ कार्यक्रम में कक्षा नौवीं के विद्यार्थियों के मध्य वर्तमान राजनीति तथा संवैधानिक मूल्यों संबंधी वाद-विवाद प्रतियोगिता करवाई गई। इस दौरान बच्चों ने अपने शोधपरक विचारों से दर्शकों से खूब प्रशंसा प्राप्त की।इसके उपरांत विद्यार्थियों की सदनानुसार सामाजिक-विज्ञान क्विज प्रतियोगिता करवाई गई। प्रतिभागियों ने राजनीति और संविधान से जुड़े प्रश्नों के चिंतनपरक उत्तर दिए। इस प्रतियोगिता में द्वितीय सदन (संकल्प सदन) प्रथम रहा। कार्यक्रम में विद्यार्थियों ने देशभक्ति से ओत-प्रोत गीत एवं सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुतियाँ देकर वातावरण को राष्ट्रप्रेम से भर दिया। स्वतंत्रता संग्राम के महानायकों के त्याग एवं बलिदान को स्मरण करते हुए विद्यार्थियों ने उनके आदर्शों को जीवन में अपनाने का संदेश दिया।इस अवधि में विद्यालय परिसर “भारत माता की जय” और “वंदे मातरम्” के जयघोष से गूँज उठा। प्रधानाचार्या महोदया ने अपने संबोधन में स्वतंत्रता दिवस के महत्त्व को रेखांकित करते हुए विद्यार्थियों को देश के प्रति अपने कर्तव्यों का निष्ठापूर्वक पालन करने के लिए प्रेरित किया। उन्होंने राष्ट्रनायकों भगत सिंह,राजगुरु, सुखदेव,चंद्रशेखर आजाद तथा सुभाष चंद्र बोस जी को याद करते हुए कहा कि उन्होंने राष्ट्रभक्ति के मार्ग में अनंत कष्टों का सामना किया किंतु कभी अपने संस्कारों व नैतिक मूल्यों को नहीं छोड़ा। उनका बलिदान हमारे लिए अविस्मरणीय है। हम सभी को अपने राष्ट्र के प्रति कर्तव्य निर्वहन हेतु कृतसंकल्प होना चाहिए।

Under the Nasha Mukat Bharat Campaign, an enlightening awareness session was organized at DAV Police Public School, Kaithal to educate students about the harmful effects of substance abuse and the importance of leading a healthy and responsible life.
The event was graced by the esteemed guests Dr. Vivek Bansal, Mrs. Shefali Bansal, and Mrs. Sonia Makkar. Addressing the students, Dr. Vivek Bansal elaborated on the various forms of addiction that are affecting today's youth and explained how students can protect themselves from falling into such harmful habits. His insightful guidance encouraged students to make informed and positive life choices.
A pledge-taking ceremony was also conducted, where students pledged to stay away from drugs and contribute towards building a drug-free society.
The school Principal, Mrs. Anju Gambhir, warmly welcomed the distinguished guests and actively participated in the programme. She appreciated their valuable contribution and expressed her gratitude for spreading awareness among the students. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, reinforcing the collective commitment towards a healthier and addiction-free India.

📚✨ CBSE Capacity Building Programme on “Use of AI in Classroom” Successfully Conducted at DAV Police Public School, Kaithal ✨📚

DAV Police Public School, Kaithal, successfully organized a CBSE Capacity Building Programme on “Use of AI in Classroom”, aimed at empowering educators with the knowledge and skills required to integrate Artificial Intelligence into teaching and learning practices.
The workshop commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and the chanting of the Gayatri Mantra in the gracious presence of Principal Mrs. Anju Gambhir and esteemed resource persons Mrs. Priyanka Basu Roy (Xavier International School, Cheeka) and Mrs. Gesu Sharma, PGT Computer Science (DAV Senior Secondary Public School, Ambala). She warmly welcomed the guests by presenting them with green plants and highlighted the significance and objectives of the programme.
Around 60 teachers from various schools participated enthusiastically and benefited from the enriching sessions. The resource persons conducted interactive discussions, brainstorming activities, and hands-on demonstrations, showcasing innovative ways of integrating AI into classroom practices. They also deliberated on the opportunities and challenges associated with AI, emphasizing its positive and negative impact on students and the education system.
The workshop provided a valuable platform for educators to explore emerging technologies and develop strategies for making teaching more engaging, effective, and future-ready.

Principal Mrs. Anju Gambhir expressed her gratitude to the resource persons for their insightful guidance and appreciated the active participation of all attendees. She expressed confidence that the knowledge gained during the workshop would help teachers enhance their professional competence and contribute significantly to students’ holistic development.

🌟 Parent–Teacher Meeting (PTM) – Building Strong Partnerships for Student Success 🌟
DAV Police Public School, Kaithal, organized a Parent–Teacher Meeting to strengthen the bond between parents, teachers, and students. The meeting provided an excellent opportunity to discuss students’ academic progress and explore ways to support their overall growth and development.
A special highlight of the PTM was the Summer Assignment Showcase, where students displayed their creativity, innovation, and learning through thoughtfully prepared assignments and Projects . Parents appreciated the efforts of the children and the opportunities provided by the school to nurture their talents.
The interaction also focused on reviewing the performance of students in the July Unit Test. Teachers shared valuable feedback with parents and discussed effective strategies to overcome learning gaps and enhance academic achievement. Attention was also given to preparing students for the upcoming September Test through regular practice, goal setting, and systematic revision.
The meeting reinforced the importance of active parental involvement in a child’s educational journey. Meaningful discussions encouraged parents to engage more closely with their children’s learning experiences, helping to build confidence, responsibility, and a positive attitude towards education.

DAY 7 – Traditional Language Games

📚 BBSC-2026 | Day 7 Activity

The BBSC-2026 week concluded with fun-filled language games at DAV Police Public School, Kaithal.

Students actively participated in Tongue Twisters and Word Association Games, improving their vocabulary, pronunciation, quick thinking and communication skills in an enjoyable learning environment.

The week ended with smiles, confidence and a celebration of joyful learning.
