The day is celebrated annually in the United States to mark women's advancements towards equality with men.

On this day in 1920, the Nineteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution was adopted that provides women the right to vote. This act stopped the federal government and states from preventing people from having the right to vote based on their s*x. The day also celebrates the achievements of women's rights activists and reminds us of the daily struggles that women face.

Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with great pomp and festivity by the tiny-tots of Tagore Public School.
Dressed as Radha and Krishna, the cute little ones added a traditional touch to the entire celebrations when they danced to the beat of Janmashtami songs, filling the air with joy and festive spirit.
