Vidyalaya is at present accommodated in a temporary building provided by the sponsoring authority. 7.62 acres of land has been provided by the Govt. of Tripura for the construction of permanent school building and other infrastructure. laboratories, a library hall, a computer rooms and several departments like games and sports, music, teaching aids, a play ground and morning assembly stage. KV Kailashahar can be reached in ways more than one. Direct luxury buses can be available from Gawahati, Agartala and Silchar. From Gawhati it is around 430 kms away and takes around 16 hours to reach. From Agartala it takes around 7 hours and is about 170 kms away. One can reach Gwahati by train and airline from any part of the country. Agartala is connected by air with some major cities like Kolkata. One can also reach Kailashahar by taking train from Gawhati. At Lumding junction another train will take him to Dharmanagar. Dharmanagar is conveniently connected to Kailashahar by motor vehicles. Pawon Hans Helicapter services are also available connecting Kailashahar with Silchar & Agartala. From Silchar it takes around 5 hours. By road to reach Kailashahar and Silchar is connected by air with other parts of the country.
