Paper I - (200 marks) Duration : Two hours

Current events of national and international importance.
History of India and Indian National Movement.
Indian and World Geography - Physical, Social, Economic Geography of India and the World.
Indian Polity and Governance - Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues, etc.
Economic and Social Development Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector initiatives, etc.
General issues on Environmental Ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change - that do not require subject specialization.
General Science.


Paper II- (200 marks) Duration: Two hours

Comprehension
Interpersonal skills including communication skills;
Decision-making and problem-solving
Logical reasoning and analytical ability
General mental ability
Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude, etc.) (Class X level), Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc. - Class X level)
English Language Comprehension skills (Class X level).


Note 1 : Questions relating to English Language Comprehension skills of Class X level (last item in the Syllabus of Paper II) will be tested through passages from English language only without providing Hindi translation thereof in the question paper.

Note 2: General Studies Paper-II of the Civil Services preliminary examination only a qualifying paper( Candidates should get 33% of the total marks in this paper to qualify).

Note 3 : The questions will be of multiple choice, objective type.

4. Passport size photo if blurred in your admit card
5. Transparent water bottle (if u need)
6. Hand Sanitizer

There is negative marking in exam u all know this, but think once again before marking any answers.

UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) has Published a new Recruitment for Central Armed Police Forces in Various Post. More information like education qualification, vacancy details, age limit, how to apply, important date and other are given below.

Education Qualification :

A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree of a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification.

How Apply :

Candidates are required to apply online only by using the website https://www. upsconline.nic.in. Brief instructions for filling up the online Application Form have been given in Appendix-II. Detailed instructions are available on the above mentioned website.

Age Limit :

A candidate must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years on 1st August, 2020, i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1995 and not later than 1st August, 2000.

Starting Date of Online Apply : 18/08/2020

Last Date of Online Apply : 07/09/2020

The online Applications can be withdrawn from 14.09.2020 to 20.09.2020 till 6.00 PM. Detailed instructions regarding withdrawal of Applications is available at Appendix-II .
