*Three Students of Mahavir English School, Kada became One Day Scientists at CSIR Lab, Pune*
The Hon'ble Prime Minister and President CSIR, Shri Narendra Modi, in his 119th Mann Ki Baat on 23rd February 2025 had suggested students to “ *spend a day as a scientist*” and experience what it feels to be one. Three students from Mahavir English School, Kada Akshara Gandhi of class X, Nish*tha Nahar of Class IX and Shaurya Andure of Class VIII were selected for the programme from Beed district and participated on Monday, 21st July 2025 at
CSIR, Pune, through its Jigyasa programme. It has been implementing laboratory visits and scientist-student connect programmes.

This celebration of science is focused on providing students with:

Immersive scientific hands-on experimentation,
Interaction with scientists and researchers,
Experience cutting-edge facilities
By providing students an opportunity to directly interact with CSIR laboratory, Pune. "One Day as a Scientist" fosters a deeper understanding of how science impacts society and drives technological advancements. Pune CSIR laboratory accommodated 75 students based on a capacity assessment test, in those 3 of MES were selected from Beed district.
