Report on Awareness and Pledge Activity under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan

Venue: Commerce College Junagadh

As part of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, an awareness and pledge activity was organized at Commerce College Junagadh.

The activity was aimed at creating awareness among students and staff members regarding the harmful consequences of substance abuse and encouraging them to adopt a healthy, responsible and drug-free lifestyle.

Students of B.Com., BBA and M.Com. programmes, along with staff members of the College, participated in the Nasha Mukt Bharat Pledge. The participants took the Nasha Mukti Sankalp, reaffirming their commitment to remain away from substance abuse and to contribute towards creating awareness about the importance of a drug-free society.

The activity provided an opportunity for students and staff to collectively express their commitment towards health, responsible citizenship, social awareness and community well-being. The participation of students from different programmes also helped in spreading the message across the wider student community of the institution.

🪔 સેવા અને સમર્પણનાં 25 વર્ષ – ‘આશીર્વાદના દીવડાનો કાર્યક્રમ’ 🪔

જુનાગઢ જુનિયર ચેમ્બર એજ્યુકેશન ટ્રસ્ટ સંચાલિત કોમર્સ, બી.બી.એ. અને એમ.કોમ. કોલેજ ખાતે ‘સેવા અને સમર્પણનાં 25 વર્ષ’ અંતર્ગત તા. 17 સપ્ટેમ્બર, 2026ના રોજ સાંજે 7:00 થી 9:00 કલાક દરમિયાન ‘આશીર્વાદના દીવડાનો કાર્યક્રમ’ ભાવપૂર્ણ વાતાવરણમાં યોજાયો હતો. 🪔✨

આ કાર્યક્રમમાં કોલેજના સમગ્ર સ્ટાફ તથા બહોળી સંખ્યામાં વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ ઉત્સાહભેર ભાગ લીધો હતો. કાર્યક્રમ અંતર્ગત સમગ્ર કોલેજ પરિસરમાં ‘આશીર્વાદના દીવડા’ પ્રગટાવી સેવા, સમર્પણ અને સકારાત્મકતાનો સુંદર સંદેશ આપવામાં આવ્યો હતો. 🙏🪔

આ પ્રસંગે જુનાગઢ મહાનગરપાલિકા દ્વારા સ્વચ્છતા અભિયાન અંતર્ગત જનજાગૃતિ માટે પ્રેરણાત્મક નાટક રજૂ કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું, જેના દ્વારા સ્વચ્છતા પ્રત્યેની જવાબદારીનો અસરકારક સંદેશ આપવામાં આવ્યો હતો. 🌿🧹

સમગ્ર કાર્યક્રમનું આયોજન અને સંચાલન કોલેજની NSS, NCC, Sports અને સાંસ્કૃતિક સમિતિ તથા સ્ટાફના બહેનોના સહયોગથી સફળતાપૂર્વક કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. 🤝

આ કાર્યક્રમ દ્વારા વિદ્યાર્થીઓમાં સ્વચ્છતા, સામાજિક જવાબદારી, સેવા, સમર્પણ અને રાષ્ટ્રસેવાની ભાવના વધુ મજબૂત બને તેવો પ્રેરણાદાયી સંદેશ આપવામાં આવ્યો હતો. 🇮🇳✨

Report on Campus Cleaning Campaign

Date: 10 September 2026
As per the instructions issued under the “Vikas Saptah Ujavani” programme, a Campus Cleaning Campaign was organized on 10 September 2026 with the active participation of students and staff members.
The cleaning campaign was accomplished under the guidance of Dr. S.J. Bhoye, Principal, and Dr. J.V. Odedra, HoD, BBA Department.
Students and staff members enthusiastically participated in the activity and collectively cleaned various areas of the college campus. Special emphasis was given to the “Plastic-Free Campus” campaign. Participants identified and collected plastic waste from the campus premises and disposed of it appropriately, contributing towards creating a cleaner and more environmentally friendly campus.
The activity aimed to develop a sense of responsibility, cleanliness and environmental consciousness among students. Through their active involvement, participants demonstrated that maintaining a clean campus is a shared responsibility requiring continuous collective efforts.
The campaign reinforced the message of “Clean Campus, Green Campus” and encouraged students and staff members to adopt responsible waste-disposal practices.
Outcome:
The cleaning campaign successfully improved the cleanliness of the college campus and contributed towards the objective of creating a clean and plastic-free campus. The activity also encouraged students and staff members to maintain cleanliness and protect the environment through responsible practices.

Report on Cleanliness Awareness Rally

Date: 10 September 2026
As per the instructions issued under the “Vikas Saptah Ujavani” programme, a Cleanliness Awareness Rally was organized on 10 September 2026 to spread awareness about the importance of cleanliness and environmental responsibility.
The rally was accomplished under the guidance of Dr. S.J. Bhoye, Principal, and Dr. J.V. Odedra, HoD, BBA Department.
Students and staff members actively participated in the rally, which was conducted through Bilkha Road and the surrounding areas near the college campus. The objective was to reach the local community and encourage people to maintain cleanliness in public places and their surroundings.
During the rally, participants raised various slogans to spread the message of cleanliness and environmental protection, including:
“સ્વચ્છતા અપનાવો, સ્વસ્થ જીવન બનાવો!”
“સ્વચ્છ ભારત, સ્વસ્થ ભારત!”
“કચરો કચરાપેટીમાં જ નાખો!”
“સ્વચ્છતા રાખો, રોગોથી બચો!”
“પ્લાસ્ટિક મુક્ત પરિસર – સ્વચ્છ અને સુંદર પરિસર!”
“સ્વચ્છતા આપણી સૌની જવાબદારી છે!”
“જ્યાં સ્વચ્છતા, ત્યાં સ્વાસ્થ્ય!”
“કચરો નહીં ફેલાવીએ, સ્વચ્છતા જાળવીશું!”
The enthusiastic participation of students and staff members helped create awareness among people in the nearby areas. The rally conveyed the message that maintaining cleanliness is a collective responsibility of the entire community.
Outcome:
The rally successfully generated awareness among students, staff members and the local community regarding cleanliness, proper waste disposal, environmental protection and the importance of keeping public places and the college surroundings clean and plastic-free.

Report on Cleanliness Pledge

Date: 10 September 2026
As per the instructions issued under the “Vikas Saptah Ujavani” programme, a Cleanliness Pledge activity was organized on 10 September 2026 to create awareness among students and staff members about the importance of cleanliness and their responsibility towards maintaining a clean environment.
The activity was accomplished under the guidance of Dr. S.J. Bhoye, Principal, and Dr. J.V. Odedra, HoD, BBA Department.
Students and staff members actively participated in the programme and collectively took the Cleanliness Pledge, committing themselves to maintaining cleanliness in their surroundings and contributing towards a cleaner and healthier society.
On the occasion, Dr. S.J. Bhoye, Principal, explained the importance of cleanliness in our daily life and emphasized that cleanliness is a collective responsibility. He further encouraged students and staff members to keep the college campus clean and plastic-free and to develop responsible habits for protecting the environment.
The pledge emphasized the importance of dedicating regular time towards cleanliness and encouraging others to adopt cleanliness practices.

REPORT ON LIFESTYLE DAY

Lecture on “Correct Nutrition and Importance of Fitness”

As per the instructions of the NCC Unit, Commerce College Junagadh organized Lifestyle Day as part of SSCD activities on 09 September 2026. A special lecture on “Correct Nutrition and Importance of Fitness” was organized for the NCC Cadets under the guidance of the institution headed by Dr. S.J. Bhoye, Principal, Commerce College Junagadh.

Capt. Dr. Vipul B. Godhaniya, Assistant Professor & NCC Officer, delivered the lecture and highlighted the importance of balanced nutrition, healthy food choices, regular physical activity, adequate hydration and proper sleep for maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle.

The session emphasized that proper nutrition and physical fitness are essential for NCC Cadets to maintain strength, stamina, discipline and overall well-being. The cadets were encouraged to develop healthy habits and incorporate regular physical activity into their daily routine.

The session was informative and interactive, and the NCC Cadets actively participated in the programme. The activity successfully created awareness about healthy lifestyle practices and motivated the cadets to make responsible choices regarding nutrition and fitness.
