Report on One Day Faculty Development Programme
“Enhancing Research Excellence for NAAC Accreditation”

The Research & Development Cell and IQAC of JJCET Commerce College, Junagadh organized One Day FDP on “Enhancing Research Excellence for NAAC Accreditation” on 17th August 2026. The programme focused on strengthening the institutional research culture and creating awareness about the latest research opportunities under the Higher Education Department, Government of Gujarat.

The major focus of the FDP was the Promotion of Research and Facilities in Higher Education Scheme, which provides support for organizing International, National and State-level Workshops, Seminars and Symposia through the COGENT Portal. The discussion also covered the Research Fellowship Scheme, including Major and Minor Research Projects and Research Aid for Faculty.

An important outcome of the FDP was the decision to plan a Research Seminar at the College based on the Promotion of Research and Facilities scheme. Dr. Parvez Bloch, In-charge Principal, JJCET Law College, Junagadh, as the Resource Person/Expert, provided valuable guidance on planning, preparing and conducting the proposed seminar.

The programme was handled by Dr. Bansi R. Shah, Nodal Officer, Research & Development Cell, with the support of Dr. Kausha T. Mehta, Co-coordinator. Dr. A. K. Saparia, IQAC Head, and Dr. V. B. Godhania, IQAC Co-coordinator, contributed to the successful organization of the FDP.

In-charge Principal Dr. S. J. Bhoye appreciated the initiative and emphasized the importance of developing a strong research culture for academic excellence and NAAC preparedness.

The FDP was successfully conducted and proved to be informative, practical and valuable for strengthening research activities and planning the proposed seminar.

*Report on Expert Sessions on Digital Marketing and Accounting, Taxation & Banking*

Date: 17 August 2026

As part of the efforts to provide students with practical and industry-oriented learning, two expert sessions were organized for the students on Digital Marketing and Tally Accounting, Income Tax, GST and Banking.

The first session was delivered by Ms. Hetal Trivedi, Digital Marketer & Creator, The Affinity, who spoke on “Digital Marketing.” She introduced students to the practical aspects of digital marketing and highlighted its growing importance in the present business environment. The session provided students with useful insights into digital platforms, online promotion, content creation, and the opportunities available in the field of digital marketing.

The second session was delivered by Mr. Dharam Solanki, Shree Computer Class, on “Tally Accounting, Income Tax, GST and Banking.” He explained the practical applications of Tally accounting and discussed important aspects of income tax, GST, and banking procedures. Practical examples helped students understand how these concepts are applied in real-world accounting and business operations.

Both sessions were highly interactive and enabled students to connect their academic learning with practical professional requirements. The sessions also provided valuable exposure to emerging career opportunities and essential workplace skills.

The programmes were conducted under the guidance of Dr. S.J. Bhoye, Principal. Dr. J.V. Odedra, HoD, BBA Department & Coordinator, Placement Cell, and Dr. M.B. Rathod, Co-coordinator, were present and contributed to the successful organization of the sessions.

The expert sessions proved beneficial in enhancing students’ practical knowledge, professional awareness, and employability-oriented skills. The programmes concluded with a vote of thanks to both experts and all those who contributed to their successful ex*****on.

Report on Participation in Har Ghar Tiranga Tiranga Rally – 2026

Route: Narsinh Mehta Lake to Sardar Chowk, Junagadh

As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign – 2026 and the Independence Week celebrations, a district-level Tiranga Rally was organized in Junagadh on 14 August 2026. The rally was organized under the initiative of the District Youth and Cultural Activities Office, Junagadh, with the objective of promoting respect for the National Flag and strengthening the spirit of patriotism and national unity among citizens.

NCC cadets of JJCET Commerce College, Junagadh, actively participated in the Tiranga Rally along with NCC Officer Capt. Dr. V. B. Godhaniya. The cadets participated in uniform with discipline, enthusiasm and a strong sense of national pride.

The rally commenced from Narsinh Mehta Lake at 8:00 a.m. and proceeded towards Sardar Chowk, Junagadh. The participation of the NCC cadets reflected the core values of the NCC—discipline, unity, leadership, patriotism and service to the nation. Carrying the National Flag and participating in the rally, the cadets conveyed the message of respect for the Tricolour and encouraged citizens to uphold the dignity of the National Flag.

The participation provided the cadets with an opportunity to contribute to a significant national campaign and to demonstrate their commitment towards the nation and society. The activity also strengthened the spirit of “Har Ghar Tiranga” and reinforced the values of patriotism, national integration and responsible citizenship among the students.

જે જે સી ઈ ટી સંચાલિત કોમર્સ બીબીએ કોલેજના એનએસએસ ના સ્વયમસેવકો દ્વારા આજે તારીખ 14 8 2026 ના રોજ ત્રિરંગા યાત્રાનુ આયોજન કરવામાં આવેલ જેમાં કોલેજનાઆચાર્યશ્રી ડો. એસ.જે. ભોંયે, પ્રોગ્રામ ઓફિસર કે.પી. પટોડીયા, કોલેજનો સમગ્ર સ્ટાફ તથા એન એસ એસ ના સ્વયમ સેવકો એ ઉત્સાહભેર ભાગ લીધો હતો.

વંદે માતરમ્ સામૂહિક ગાન કાર્યક્રમનો અહેવાલ

તારીખ: 12 ઓગસ્ટ, 2026

ભારત સરકારના સંસ્કૃતિ મંત્રાલય તથા ગુજરાત સરકારના શિક્ષણ વિભાગના પરિપત્રના અનુસંધાને, “હર ઘર તિરંગા – 2026” અભિયાન અંતર્ગત તથા રાષ્ટ્રીય ગીત **“વંદે માતરમ્”**ના 150 વર્ષ પૂર્ણ થવાના ગૌરવપૂર્ણ અવસરને અનુલક્ષીને આજે કોલેજ ખાતે “વંદે માતરમ્”નું સામૂહિક ગાન યોજવામાં આવ્યું હતું. પરિપત્રમાં શૈક્ષણિક સંસ્થાઓમાં વિદ્યાર્થીઓ અને શિક્ષકોની સહભાગિતાથી “વંદે માતરમ્”નું સામૂહિક ગાન યોજવા સૂચના આપવામાં આવી છે.

કાર્યક્રમમાં કોલેજના આચાર્યશ્રી, અધ્યાપકશ્રીઓ, કર્મચારીઓ તથા વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ ઉત્સાહપૂર્વક ભાગ લીધો હતો. સૌએ દેશભક્તિ અને રાષ્ટ્રભાવનાથી ઓતપ્રોત થઈને “વંદે માતરમ્”નું સંપૂર્ણ સામૂહિક ગાન કર્યું હતું. કાર્યક્રમ દ્વારા વિદ્યાર્થીઓમાં રાષ્ટ્રપ્રેમ, એકતા, અખંડિતતા અને રાષ્ટ્રીય ગૌરવની ભાવનાને પ્રોત્સાહન મળ્યું હતું.

આ સમગ્ર કાર્યક્રમનું આયોજન “હર ઘર તિરંગા – 2026” અભિયાનના હેતુઓને અનુરૂપ કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું.

REPORT ON EXPERT SESSIONS ON DIGITAL SECURITY AND DATA ANALYTICS

Date: 11 August 2026

An expert session was organized by JJCET Commerce College, Junagadh on 11 August 2026 to enhance students’ awareness of emerging technologies and their practical applications in the modern digital environment.

The session featured two distinguished speakers. Mr. Krish Khunt, Faculty of Cyber Security, Cyber Security Analyst, Cyber Security Consultant and Cyber Security Awareness Speaker, delivered an insightful session on “Digital Crime and Cyber Security.” He explained various forms of digital crimes, common cyber threats, online safety measures, data protection and the importance of responsible digital practices.

The second session was conducted by Mr. Nofil Liya on “Data Analytics.” He introduced students to the significance of data in modern business and decision-making and explained how data can be analysed and interpreted to derive meaningful insights.

Both sessions provided students with practical knowledge beyond the conventional classroom curriculum. The interaction with experts helped students understand the growing relevance of cybersecurity and data analytics in academic, professional and business environments.

The programme concluded with an expression of gratitude to both experts for sharing their valuable knowledge and experience. The sessions were beneficial in promoting digital awareness, analytical thinking, employability skills and responsible use of technology among the students.

વિશ્વ સિંહ દિવસની ઉજવણી – અહેવાલ

કોમર્સ કોલેજ, જુનાગઢ ખાતે તા. ૧૦ ઓગસ્ટ ૨૦૨૬ના રોજ વિશ્વ સિંહ દિવસ (World Lion Day) નિમિત્તે જાગૃતિ કાર્યક્રમનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. કાર્યક્રમનો મુખ્ય ઉદ્દેશ્ય વિદ્યાર્થીઓમાં સિંહ સંરક્ષણ, વન્યજીવ સંરક્ષણ અને પર્યાવરણ જાળવણી અંગે જાગૃતિ કેળવવાનો હતો.

કાર્યક્રમમાં કોલેજના આચાર્યશ્રી S.J. ભોયેએ કાર્યક્રમને માર્ગદર્શન આપ્યું. કાર્યક્રમ દરમિયાન વિદ્યાર્થીઓને સિંહોના આવાસ, જીવનશૈલી, પર્યાવરણમાં તેમની ભૂમિકા, સંરક્ષણના પ્રયત્નો અને ગીરના એશિયાટિક સિંહોના મહત્વ વિશે માહિતીસભર માર્ગદર્શન આપવામાં આવ્યું. વિદ્યાર્થીઓમાં વન્યજીવો પ્રત્યે પ્રેમ, જવાબદારી અને સંરક્ષણની ભાવના વિકસે તે માટે વિવિધ મુદ્દાઓ પર ચર્ચા કરવામાં આવી.

કાર્યક્રમના આયોજનમાં SC/ST Cellના પ્રો. પી.જે. ભોયે તથા ડૉ. જે.વી. ઓડેદરા – In-charge BBAએ મહત્વપૂર્ણ ભૂમિકા ભજવી હતી.

વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ ઉત્સાહપૂર્વક ભાગ લીધો અને **“સિંહનું સંરક્ષણ એટલે આપણા પર્યાવરણનું સંરક્ષણ”**નો સંદેશ સાથે કાર્યક્રમ સફળતાપૂર્વક પૂર્ણ થયો.

વિશ્વ આદિવાસી દિવસની ઉજવણી – અહેવાલ

કોમર્સ કોલેજ, જુનાગઢ ખાતે તા. ૮ ઓગસ્ટ ૨૦૨૬ના રોજ વિશ્વ આદિવાસી દિવસ નિમિત્તે વિશેષ કાર્યક્રમનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. કાર્યક્રમનો મુખ્ય ઉદ્દેશ્ય વિદ્યાર્થીઓમાં આદિવાસી સમાજની સંસ્કૃતિ, પરંપરા, જીવનશૈલી અને વારસા અંગે જાગૃતિ કેળવવાનો હતો.

કાર્યક્રમમાં શ્રી સુરેશભાઈ વેકરિયા, પ્રમુખશ્રી, Junagadh Junior Chamber Education Trustની પ્રેરક ઉપસ્થિતિ રહી. કોલેજના આચાર્યશ્રી S.J. ભોયેએ કાર્યક્રમને માર્ગદર્શન આપ્યું.

કાર્યક્રમના નિષ્ણાત વક્તા પ્રો. ડૉ. ભરતભાઈ વસાવાએ વિશ્વના વિવિધ આદિવાસી સમુદાયોની જીવનશૈલી, દૈનિક દિનચર્યા, તહેવારો, રહેણીકરણી, વેશભૂષા, લોકસંસ્કૃતિ, પરંપરાઓ અને પ્રકૃતિ સાથેના તેમના નિકટના સંબંધ વિશે રસપ્રદ અને માહિતીસભર રજૂઆત કરી હતી.

કાર્યક્રમના આયોજનમાં પ્રો. પી.જે. ભોયે – SC/ST Cell તથા ડૉ. જે.વી. ઓડેદરા – In-charge BBAએ મહત્વપૂર્ણ ભૂમિકા ભજવી હતી. વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ ઉત્સાહપૂર્વક ભાગ લીધો અને વિશ્વની વિવિધ આદિવાસી સંસ્કૃતિઓ તથા તેમના સમૃદ્ધ વારસાને સમજવાની નવી દૃષ્ટિ મેળવી.

આજરોજ તારીખ 7 -8 -2026 અને શુક્રવારના રોજ જે જે સી ઈ ટી સંચાલિત કોમર્સ, બીબીએ કોલેજની અંદર પ્રથમ વર્ષ બી કોમ, બીબીએ ના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ તથા એમકોમમાં પ્રવેશ મેળવેલ વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ માટે થેલેસેમિયા ટેસ્ટનુ આયોજન કરવામાં આવેલ જેમાં બી. કોમ. બી.બી.એ. અને એમ.કોમ.ના મળીને 227 વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ ટેસ્ટ કરાવેલ ટેસ્ટ માટે અમદાવાદથી રેડક્રોસ સોસાયટીના સદસ્ય શ્રી સંજયભાઈ તથા તેમની ટીમ અહીંયા કોલેજ પર આવી અને વિદ્યાર્થીઓના બ્લડના સેમ્પલ લીધા અને એ થેલેસેમિયા બાબતે ચકાસણી કરી અને ટૂંકા સમયમાં જ એ રિપોર્ટ સંસ્થાને સુપ્રત કરશે આ કામગીરીમાં એનએસએસના પ્રોગ્રામ ઓફિસર ડો. કે.પી. પટોળિયા, કોલેજના એનએસએસના સ્વયંસેવકો કોલેજના ઉપાચાર્યશ્રી એ.કે. સાપરિયા તથા સમગ્ર સ્ટાફે નિષ્ઠાથી કામગીરી કરી કેમ્પની સફળ બનાવ્યો હતો. ટેસ્ટના આયોજન બાબતે સંસ્થાના આચાર્યશ્રી ડો. સુરેશભાઈ ભોયે તથા જે. જે.સી.ઈ.ટી.ટ્રસ્ટના પ્રમુખશ્રી સુરેશભાઈ વેકરીયા એ આ કામગીરી ને બીરદાવી અને કેમ્પ ના આયોજન બદલ સર્વને અભિનંદન પાઠવ્યા હતા.
