कश्मीर में चमकी जोशीमठ की बेटियां

जोशीमठ। नेशनल विंटर गेम्स 2021 मैं एक बार फिर से जनपद चमोली के सीमांत ब्लॉक जोशीमठ की बेटियों ने अपना परचम लहराया है। राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर इस प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन कश्मीर के गुलमर्ग में 6 फरवरी से 10 फरवरी तक किया गया जिसमें उत्तराखंड समेत देश के अनेक राज्यों के खिलाड़ियों ने प्रतिभाग किया। स्की एंड स्नोबोर्ड एसोसिएशन ऑफ उत्तराखंड के 22 सदस्यीय दल ने उत्तराखंड राज्य की ओर से प्रतिभाग करते हुए कश्मीर में अपने दबदबे को कायम रखा। जोशीमठ निवासी कुमारी महक कवांण ने अंडर-14 स्लालम प्रतियोगिता में राज्य को स्वर्ण पदक एवं अंडर-14 ज्वाइंट स्लालम प्रतियोगिता में राज्य के लिए रजत पदक दिलाए । वहीं दूसरी ओर अंडर-16 जूनियर वर्ग में कुमारी भारती भुजवाण ने राज्य के लिए सलालम प्रतियोगिता में काश्य पदक प्राप्त किया। गौरतलब है कुमारी महक ने पिछले वर्ष भी प्रथम खेलो इंडिया के तहत खेले गए मुकाबलों में भी उत्तराखंड के लिए दो गोल्ड मेडल प्राप्त किये थे। दोनों छात्राएं गरीब एवं मेधावी बच्चों हेतु उत्तराखंड सरकार द्वारा संचालित राजीव गांधी अभिनव आवासीय विद्यालय जोशीमठ में कक्षा 8 एवं 10 में अध्ययनरत हैं। राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर मेडल प्राप्त करने के पश्चात जोशीमठ पहुंची महक और भारती का विद्यालय के छात्र छात्राओं एवं अध्यापकों द्वारा जोरदार स्वागत किया गया।

वहीं दूसरी ओर खंड शिक्षा अधिकारी जोशीमठ श्री विवेक पंवार द्वारा
राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर पदक प्राप्त करने वाली दोनों एथलीट को सम्मान पत्र एवं नगद पुरस्कार देकर प्रोत्साहित किया गया। दोनों बालिकाओं को शुभकामनाएं देते हुए खंड शिक्षा अधिकारी जोशीमठ ने भविष्य में भी इसी प्रकार के प्रदर्शन को दोहराने की अपेक्षा की। खंड शिक्षा अधिकारी जोशीमठ के हाथों पुरस्कार प्राप्त करने से गदगद दोनों बालिकाओं ने भरोसा दिलाया कि अगर सरकार द्वारा उचित सुविधा और संसाधन प्रदान किए जाते हैं तो वह भविष्य में भी इससे बेहतर प्रदर्शन कर राज्य को मेेेडल दिलाती रहेंगी। खंड शिक्षा अधिकारी द्वारा छात्र-छात्राओं के अंदर छुपी हुई प्रतिभा को निखारने में विद्यालय अध्यापकों द्वारा किए जा रहे प्रयास की जमकर सराहना की।

इस अवसर पर खंड शिक्षा अधिकारी जोशीमठ श्री विवेक पंवार, जोशीमठ के अग्रणी समाजसेवी श्री हरीश डिमरी, विद्यालय प्राचार्य डा0 राजकिशोर, खेल अध्यापक श्री शैलेंद्र पवार, श्री पंकज पुरोहित, मयंक रावत, श्री प्रदीप पंत, श्रीमती सोनी फरसवाण, कुमारी प्रीति सेमवाल सहित विद्यालय के अन्य कर्मचारी और छात्र-छात्राएं मौजूद रहे।

Admission Notice

Applications are invited for admission in class 6 in Rajiv Gandhi Abhinav Residential School, Joshimath.

Eligibility for admission- Candidate should have passed class 5 from a government primary school located in Joshimath block.

1- Limited seats - 20 for boys and 20 for girls
2- Last date of application is 03 December 2020.
3- Application forms can be obtained from the school office or Balaji Traders, Tehsil Gate, Joshimath.

Dear parents & students

We are very happy to inform all of you that schools are being opened tomorrow for classes 10 and 12 as per the orders of the government. It is a bold and commendable step in view of the future of board candidates. As a responsible parent, employee and student, it is our collective responsibility that we will follow the instructions given by the government in letter and spirit. In the era of Kovid 19 global epidemic, it will be mandatory for all of us to follow the following guidelines
1- We all will use masks.
2 - Will fully comply with social distance.
3- Follow the guidelines provided by the school and the government.
4- Will not bring any type of food material to school nor accept it from anyone.
5- Make yourself aware about Kovid 19 as well as other people.
