AIR FORCE SCHOOL JORHAT was privileged to host the Hon'ble Governor of Assam, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria Ji on 28 Mar 2023. Upon his arrival, the Hon'ble Governor was warmly welcomed by AOC 10 Wg, Executive Director of Air Force School Jorhat, Principals of Air Force School Jorhat and Kendriya Vidyalaya AFS No. 1 Jorhat.

Welcome address along with a brief about both Schools was delivered by Fg. Offr. Kritika Kulhari. This was followed by a cultural performance by students of Air Force School Jorhat & KV AFS No. 1 Jorhat.

The Hon'ble Governor, in his speech, appreciated the efforts put in by teachers. His encouraging address encouraged the teaching faculty and students.

Happy Independence Day - 2022

8th International Yoga Day 2022 was celebrated by the students of AIR FORCE SCHOOL JORHAT with great enthusiasm.

Yoga Instructor : Sanjeeb Bhattercherjee (TGT-Maths)

Yoga Day is celebrated among the youth and children to make them understand the importance of yoga in their life. It helps the students understand how to maintain harmony between body and mind.

The programme started at 7:30 am. The students of Primary, Secondary and Senior Secondary wings showed great enthusiasm and active participation while showing their Yoga skills.
