Heartfelt Condolences

With profound sadness, the HHMI family mourns the passing of Senior Advocate Shri Onkar Mull Mahesree, a distinguished former member of the HHMI Trust Board, who passed away on 11 July 2026 at 11:51 a.m. at the age of 91 due to age-related ailments.

He was a man of integrity, wisdom, humility, and unwavering dedication to the legal profession. Widely respected within the legal fraternity, Shri Mahesree was admired for his kindness, simplicity, and gentle nature. We will always cherish and value his invaluable contributions towards the development of the school.

The HHMI family extends its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prays that the Almighty grants eternal peace to his noble soul.

Celebrating the Last Day Before Summer Break! 🌸✨

Today, the HHMI campus came alive with joy and laughter as our students marked the last day before the summer vacation. Nursery to Class I students enjoyed watching movies, while students from Classes II to X delighted everyone with vibrant cultural performances, dances, music, and cheerful celebrations.

Workshop on Traditional Manuscript Painting

HHMI organized a Workshop on Traditional Manuscript Painting to introduce students to Assam's rich artistic heritage.

We were honoured to welcome Sri Diganta Hazarika, a renowned traditional manuscript artist from Jorhat, Assam, as the resource person. Through his expert guidance, students learned the techniques and cultural significance of Hanchi Paat painting.

The workshop inspired creativity and encouraged students to appreciate and preserve Assam's traditional art.

Students showcased various yoga asanas, demonstrating the importance of physical fitness, mental well-being, and inner harmony. CCA Activities: Unleashing Creativity & Sharpening Minds

HHMI organized a Riddles Competition for students of Classes II–V and a Jewellery Making Competition for students of Classes VI–IX.

The activities helped students enhance their critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, creativity, and self-expression. The riddles challenged young minds, while the jewellery-making activity encouraged artistic innovation using paper and cloth.

🌱🌍 World Environment Day Celebration at HHMI 🌿

HHMI celebrated World Environment Day with great enthusiasm and active participation from students in activities such as tree plantation, campus cleaning, painting, and drawing to promote environmental awareness.

A special highlight of the programme was the distribution of saplings and eco-friendly tote bags made by the students to neighbouring households by the NCC cadets. Class X students were also gifted saplings by the Principal to encourage them to contribute towards a greener and cleaner environment.

The students participated wholeheartedly and showed their commitment to environmental conservation.
