On the occasion of World Photography Day, I had a wonderful evening with an intimate interaction with the young generation of photographers from Jorhat, along with a beautiful and memorable time together.

Tomorrow, 19th August, is World Photography Day. On this special occasion, many of the emerging young photographers from Upper Assam have come together to initiate an innovative new endeavour — in a style that truly reflects the spirit of the new generation.
They are also joined by several experienced senior photographers from the older generation. At their invitation, I will be spending this evening with them, sharing some of my experiences and having an interactive session with the new generation of photographers.
Tomorrow morning, they have also organised a Photo Walk. Those who are interested in participating are requested to get in touch with the organisers.
