79th Independence Day

World Environment Day is celebrated on the 5th of June every year. It was celebrated for the first time in 1974. The United Nations General Assembly decided to gather all nations together in this respect to bring forth attention to the kinds of environmental problems that are a risk to not just the entire human race but also to animals and plants. Keeping this in mind, the students and staff of Assam Rifles Public School, planted trees in the Assam Rifles Campus and also prepared posters to make people aware about the importance of Environmental Protection.
This drive motivated the students to understand their responsibilities towards mother earth. All in all this plantation drive was a great success.
