On 6th February 2026, we lost our revered and respected founder Mrs. Monjula Dutta.In her loving memory, a Sarva- Dharma Prayer (All-religion prayer) meeting was held on 22nd March,2026 in the school premises. The programme began with soulful prayers and hymns from different religions, reflecting the values of unity, peace, and humanity that she always cherished.
On this occasion, a Memorial Book was published titled “Smritir Subas Bichari” (In Search of the Fragrance of Memories), which includes writings by various individuals reflecting on their memories with her, was also unveiled. The book was formally released by Mrs. Nalini Bala Hazarika, former President of Jorhat Sahitya Sabha and a distinguished literary figure honoured with the title Kavyanandini.The unveiling of the“Smritir Subas Bichari” stood as a touching tribute, preserving cherished memories and reflections of those who were fortunate to have known her. Each page of the publication reflects the deep respect and affection people hold for her.
The presence of former students, parents, invited dignitaries, teachers of the school, and family members added grace and solemnity to the gathering.

With profound grief and deep sorrow, we mourn the sad demise of our beloved Founder,Mrs.Monjula Dutta whose vision, dedication, and relentless efforts laid the strong foundation of our institution.She was not just a founder but a guiding light, mentor, and inspiration to countless students, teachers, and well-wishers. The values, discipline, and knowledge that she nurtured within this institution will continue to inspire generations to come.
The entire Christ king school fraternity expresses heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prays to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the family to bear this irreparable loss.

With profound grief, we mourn the untimely demise of our beloved music icon Zubeen Garg. His passing has left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of millions.
