হীৰক জয়ন্তী উদযাপনৰ ৰাজহুৱা সভা :
পূব যোৰহাটৰ এক অগ্ৰনী উচ্চ শিক্ষানুষ্ঠান কাকজান মহাবিদ্যালয়ে চলিত মাহতে হীৰক জয়ন্তী বৰ্ষত পদাৰ্পণ কৰিবলৈ আগবাঢ়িছে।আজি ইংৰাজী ২২ জুলাই তাৰিখে এই ঐতিহাসিক হীৰক জয়ন্তী বৰ্ষযোৰা কাৰ্যসূচীৰে সাফল্যমণ্ডিত ভাৱে উদযাপন কৰিবৰ বাবে উদেশ্য হাতত লৈ মহাবিদ্যালয় খনৰ প্ৰেক্ষাগৃহত এখন ৰাজহুৱা সভা অনুষ্ঠিত হৈ যায়। মহাবিদ্যালয় খনৰ পৰিচালনা সমিতিৰ সভাপতি ডo গণেশ চন্দ্ৰ বৰাৰ পৌৰোহিত্যত অনুষ্ঠিত হোৱা এই সভাত আদৰণি ভাষণ প্ৰদান কৰি অধ্যক্ষ ডo ৰশ্মিৰেখা শইকীয়াই বৰ্ষজোৰা হীৰক জয়ন্তী উদযাপনৰ বিভিন্ন কাৰ্যসূচীত সংশ্লিষ্ট সকলোৰে অংশগ্ৰহণ, সক্ৰিয় সহায় সহযোগিতা কামনা কৰে। সহকাৰী অধ্যাপক তুফেল জিলানীয়ে আত ধৰা এই সভাৰ উদ্দেশ্য বাখ্যা কৰে সহযোগী অধ্যাপক ডo পংকজ গোস্বামীয়ে। মহাবিদ্যালয়খনৰ হীৰক জয়ন্তী উদযাপনৰ বিষয়ত আলোকপাত কৰি অৱসৰ প্ৰাপ্ত অধ্যক্ষ ডo দীপক কুমাৰ শৰ্মা আৰু ডo ৰূপৰেখা বৰদলৈ, অবসৰ প্ৰাপ্ত উপাধ্যক্ষ ডo ধীৰেন কলিতা, ৰাজ্যিক বঁটা প্ৰাপ্ত অবসৰী শিক্ষক কেশৱ চন্দ্ৰ বৰা, অবসৰ প্ৰাপ্ত বিজ্ঞানী ডo দন্দেশ্বৰ দত্ত, অবসৰ প্ৰাপ্ত অধ্যাপক দেৱ কুমাৰ বৰুৱা, অবসৰ প্ৰাপ্ত প্ৰধান শিক্ষক জীতেন প্ৰসাদ বৰা আৰু মনোৰঞ্জন ভৰালী, জিলা পৰিষদৰ সদস্য ৰূপক ৰঞ্জন শইকীয়া আৰু সংবাদ কৰ্মী দিলীপ দত্তই বক্তব্য আগবঢ়ায় আৰু বিশেষকৈ স্থানীয় জনগণ আৰু প্ৰাক্তন ছাত্ৰ ছাত্ৰী মঞ্চৰ সক্ৰিয় অংশগ্ৰহণেৰে কাৰ্যসূচী সমূহ ৰূপায়ণ কৰাৰ বিষয়ত গুৰুত্ব আৰোপ কৰে। প্ৰাক্তন ছাত্ৰ ছাত্ৰী সকলৰ হৈ অৰুণ হাতীবৰুৱা, প্ৰণৱ বৰপাত্ৰ গোহাঁই, মানৱ জ্যোতি বৰদলৈ, অমৃত শৰ্মা, দ্বীপেন চন্দ্ৰ বৰা, অসীম কুমাৰ হাজৰিকা, বেদান্ত ভৰালী, নিৰুৎপল বৰুৱা আদিয়ে বক্তব্য দাঙি ধৰি আৰম্ভণি পৰা শেহৰ অনুষ্ঠানলৈকে এক ৰূপৰেখা প্ৰস্তুত কৰা আৰু যুগসাপেক্ষ কিছুসংখ্যক কাৰ্যসূচী গ্ৰহণ কৰাৰ বিষয়ত আলোকপাত কৰে। অৱসপ্ৰাপ্ত প্ৰাপ্ত উপাধ্যক্ষ ৰাজু বৰুৱা, মৃদুল গগৈ আৰু মামণি দত্ত, প্ৰধান শিক্ষক ৰবীন চন্দ্ৰ বৰুৱা, অৱসৰ প্ৰাপ্ত শিক্ষক প্ৰভাত ৰঞ্জন গগৈ, সমাজকৰ্মী অনোৱাৰ হুছেইন,প্ৰদীপ দত্ত, প্ৰাক্তন ছাত্ৰ ছাত্ৰী মঞ্চৰ অৰবিন্দ হাতীবৰুৱা, ড০ মণ্টু কুমাৰ বৰা, ৰোহিনী কুমাৰ বৰা,অৰূপ জ্যোতি শইকীয়া, আৰাধনা চৌধুৰী, পবিত্ৰ শইকীয়া, অণ্টু কাকতি, উত্তৰণ বৰগোহাই, যতীন্দ্ৰ মহন্ত, ৰিংকু মনি মহন্ত, দেৱজিৎ বৰা, চিৰঞ্জীৱ শইকীয়া, জিতু মনি বৰ্মন,হীৰক জ্যোতি ভূঞা, অৰিন্দম শইকীয়া, গৌতম হাজৰিকা, চক্ৰপাণি বৰুৱা, জ্যোতি প্ৰসাদ বৰগোহাঁই, দিগ্বিজয় বৰগোহাঁই, আশীষ ৰঞ্জন গগৈ, অভিজ্ঞান বৰাই, শিৱানী বৰুৱা আদিকে ধৰি বহু সংখ্যক প্ৰাক্তন ছাত্ৰ ছাত্ৰী আৰু কৰ্মৰত শিক্ষক কৰ্মচাৰী, ছাত্ৰ একতা সভাৰ সদস্য সকল উপস্থিত থকা এই ৰাজহুৱা সভা খনৰ শেহত শলাগৰ শৰাই আগবঢ়ায় উপাধ্যক্ষ ডo ক্ষীৰোদ শইকীয়াই। এই সভাতে স্থানীয় বিধায়ক বিকাশ শইকীয়াক সভাপতি, মহাবিদ্যালয় পৰিচালনা সমিতিৰ সভাপতি ড০গণেশ চন্দ্ৰ বৰাক কাৰ্যকৰী সভাপতি, অধ্যক্ষ ড০ ৰশ্মিৰেখা শইকীয়াক মূখ্য সম্পাদক আৰু সহযোগী অধ্যাপক ড০ পংকজ গোস্বামীক সম্পাদক ৰূপে লৈ এখনি হীৰক জয়ন্তী উদযাপন সমিতি গঠন কৰা হয় আৰু পৰৱৰ্তী সময়ত উপসমিতি সহ এই উদযাপন সমিতি পূৰ্ণাংগ ৰূপত গঠন কৰি অহা ইংৰাজী আগষ্ট মাহত হীৰক জয়ন্তী বৰ্ষযোৰা উৎসৱৰ শুভাৰম্ভ কৰাৰ বাবেও সিদ্ধান্ত গ্ৰহন কৰা হয়।
Public Meeting on the Diamond Jubilee Celebration of Kakojan College
Kakojan College, a leading institution of higher education in East Jorhat, is set to enter its Diamond Jubilee Year during the present month. With the objective of celebrating this historic Diamond Jubilee Year through a series of successful year-long programmes, a public meeting was held today, 22 July, in the auditorium of the College.
The meeting was presided over by Dr. Gonesh Chandra Borah, President of the Governing Body of Kakojan College. In her welcome address, Principal Dr. Rashmi Rekha Saikia sought the participation, active cooperation, and support of all concerned in the various programmes planned for the year-long Diamond Jubilee celebration.
The meeting was conducted by Assistant Professor Mr. Tofail Zilani, while the objectives of the meeting were explained by Associate Professor Dr. Pankaj Goswami.
Several distinguished persons spoke on the occasion, highlighting different aspects of the Diamond Jubilee celebration. The speakers included retired Principals Dr. Deepak Kumar Sarma and Dr. Ruprekha Bordoloi; retired Vice-Principal Dr. Dhiren Kalita; State Award-winning retired teacher Keshab Chandra Bora; retired scientist Dr. Dandeswar Dutta; retired professor Dev Kumar Baruah; retired headmasters Jiten Prasad Bora and Manoranjan Bharali; Zila Parishad member Rupak Ranjan Saikia; and journalist Dilip Dutta. They emphasised the importance of active participation by the local community and the Alumni Forum in implementing the proposed programmes.
Representing the alumni, Arun Hatibaruah, Pranab Barpatra Gohain, Manab Jyoti Bordoloi, Amrit Sarma, Dipen Chandra Bora, Asim Kumar Hazarika, Vedanta Bharali, Nirutpal Baruah, and others expressed their views. They stressed the need to prepare a comprehensive plan covering the programmes from the inaugural event to the closing ceremony, along with the inclusion of several activities relevant to the present times.
The public meeting was attended by retired Vice-Principals Raju Baruah, Mridul Gogoi, and Mamoni Dutta; headmaster Robin Chandra Baruah; retired teacher Prabhat Ranjan Gogoi; social workers Anowar Hussain and Pradip Dutta; members of the Alumni Forum including Aravinda Hatibaruah, Dr. Montu Kumar Bora, Rohini Kumar Bora, Arup Jyoti Saikia, Aradhana Choudhury, Pabitra Saikia, Ontu Kakoti, Uttaran Borgohain, Jatindra Mahanta, Rinku Moni Mahanta, Debajit Bora, Chiranjeeb Saikia, Jitu Moni Barman, Hirak Jyoti Bhuyan, Arindam Saikia, Gautam Hazarika, Chakrapani Baruah, Jyoti Prasad Borgohain, Digbijay Borgohain, Ashish Ranjan Gogoi, Abhigyan Bora, Shivani Baruah, and many other former students, serving teachers, staff members, and members of the Students’ Union.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Kshirod Saikia, Vice-Principal of Kakojan College, offered the vote of thanks.
During the meeting, a Diamond Jubilee Celebration Committee was formed with local MLA Bikash Saikia as President; Dr. Gonesh Chandra Borah, President of the Governing Body, as Working President; Principal Dr. Rashmi Rekha Saikia as Chief Secretary; and Associate Professor Dr. Pankaj Goswami as Secretary. It was also resolved that the committee, along with its sub-committees, would be constituted in full at a later date and that the year-long Diamond Jubilee celebrations would be formally inaugurated in August.
