Congratulations to Team Physiotherapy,JMCH Jorhat for Successful Week Long Program of Physiotherapy Health Camp Across Various Urban and Remote areas of Jorhat District along with A Mankind service of Blood Donation Program at JMCH and A Healthyfit Cyclowalkathon in Jorhat Town.





8th September, The Day of Physiotherapy Fraternity across world was also Celebrated with a High Spirit in Jorhat Medical College and Hospital Assam ,India with a Massive crowd of nearly 300 members.





The Program was Inaugurated By Prof.Dr. Saurabh Borkotoki , Principal cm Chief Superintendent JMCH in Presence of Prof Dr.Pranabjit Biswanath ,Vice Principal of JMCH ,Dr.Achit Baruah ,Medical Health Officer. Dr. Miranda Dutta ,Senior Medical officer of ART centre and Senior Physiotherapist Dr.Ankur Jyoti Bora PT of JMCH.The Program commenced with Lamp Lighting Ceremony and a centenary tribute to Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhupen Hazarika followed by Inagural speech from all Dignataries.





Department of Physiotherapy JMC has released the First Ever Annual Magazine 'কাঁচিয়লি' in presence of All Dignitaries along with Dr.Hiteshwar Saikia , Assistant Professor Department of Pharmacology





The Celebration also witnessed the Unvailing of Departmental Wall magazine - ‘পুনৰুজ্জীৱন’ on Healthy Ageing in Presence of all esteemed members and Prof. Dr. Geeta Baruah ,HoD of Physiology dept JMCH .






The Programe also provide a Platform for UG,PG students, Interns of Physiotherapy to Explore the Clinical and Research participation through Paper , Poster and Creative Art Presentation. We are Highly Thankful to our Judge for the Competitive Events as Dr.Santosh Kumar Sahu , Associate Professor,Dept of Anatomy JMCH,Dr.Prasenjit Bhattacharya, Assistant professor of Physiotherapy,AWU and Dr. Mayur Das PT , Associate Professor of PEWS Group Guwahati.




A Healthy Symposium also conducted during the Celebration of World Physiotherapy Day with Talk on Geriatric Medicine By Dr.Miranda Dutta , Physiotherapy in Geriatric Population by Dr. Santosh Rajak PT and Introduction to CPR by Dr. Krishna Bordoloi , Assistant professor, Department of Anaesthesiology.





The Celebration got more High with Inclusion of Cultural Events and Many more .
